We eat here regularly and always enjoy it. The staff are so welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious. There is a special menu for the early evening from Monday to Thursday and so you can have a lovely meal at an excellent price if you are happy to eat early.

This is my favourite restaurant in Lancaster. There are loads of amazing vegan options as well as the vegetarian menu that has lots of favourites like Homity Pie. The cakes are amazing too! Good value. Very popular and so make sure you get there early for lunch!

We had a lovely meal here on a Saturday night. Its intimate but not isolated so great atmosphere. We ordered the bread selection which was fab and different. The stuffed mushrooms each wow ! My husband ordered the special beef Stroganoff and Greek polenta, I had the stuffed chicken breast with chorizo. It came with vegetable's. My husband had a brandy coffee for pudding which came with gorg chocolates I had the toffee and caramel pavlova was like a fab double decker ! Loved the mini tic tac you got each with the bill at the end. This is definitely a favourite restaurant in Lancaster of ours. Yes it's not cheap but you pay for the service which was excellent the intimate setting and the class of food . Thankyou !

Quite Simply French creates seasonal innovative menus that change every day. We use only the finest ingredients from local and specialist suppliers. Our ethos is bespoke, which means our all our dishes are cooked in small batches. We cook our food fresh to order and serve it with a friendly smile! Our food is modern French but with most of our seasonal produce supplied locally we pay homage to Britain and Lancashire. We are the only restaurant in Lancaster and within 50 miles of Lancaster to have a live lobster tank and specialise in fresh shellfish and seafood. OFFERS INCLUDE: Early Bird - Monday to Saturday . Starters 50% off & Mains £10. Wednesday - Mussels or Steak - £15 Steak and Mussels - £20. Thursdays - Lobster and Champagne, a whole lobster and 2 glasses of champagne - £40. Found QSF via TripAdvisor and we had our first dinner in October '17.
We were both very impressed by the décor, the hospitality and professionalism of all staff. The menu offers plenty of choice. The produce and ingredients is excellent.
We've shared the three starters: oysters, escargots and cuisses de grenouilles... And stuck to our own mains, to finish with the Gourmand dessert...
Unfortunately we live a couple of hours driving away but we'll definitely come back for more...

Been here a few times now for family meals and celebrations. The food is lovely and tasty, the service is fantastic and the restaurant is impeccably clean. The decor and ambiance is great for any occasion. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good Indian meal experience.

Really like the building and how the business represents Lancaster brewery, which is a bonus for everyone. The food was good, and the beer even better. But the venue was brilliant, welcoming for civilized people to say the least haha!

Are you looking for somewhere special to eat in Lancaster? Then you simply have to try the Wagon & Horses, for the last couple of years we have secretly been employing one of the best chefs in the area and creating a menu that will rival (and sometimes surpass) any other establishment in Lancaster. We know it's a cliché but we are the best kept culinary secret in the city. We take great pride in our customer service and make sure the standard of food we serve is always of the highest quality making us increasingly one of the most popular gastropubs to eat at. Wherever possible, we are committed to only buying from local suppliers whether it is Garstang Blue Cheese or Lewis's truly amazing Ice Cream, we truly celebrate and insist on giving our customers a true taste of as many delicious produce that Lancaster & Lancashire can offer. As you may or may not know, our Gastro pub reputation is growing rapidly every week and we are very proud to boast about the quality and freshness of our ingredients and we are delighted to announce the completion of our roof top herb and salad garden where we are growing not just our reputation but a vast array of yummy herb and salad to make our dishes incredibleWe want your dining experience at the Wagon & Horses to be a really special, a day to remember, so we are proud to offer a range of mouth-watering starters that include our legendary Asian Style Mussels & the unique experience of our Wagon & Horses Savoury Tart (it's got Black Pudding in you know). After the lip licking has finished you can then choose from two main menus, the first boasting such delights as roasted monkfish (yummy) and our much acclaimed herb Crusted Lamb Rack, once tried - never forgotten. The Classics menu conjures up somewhat more down to earth fayre such as Cumbrian Beef resident burger and (as our quote informs) possibly the best Beer Battered Fish & Chips in the UK. Both menus are bursting with local and seasonal flavours and all dietary requirements can be catered for with vegetarian options galore, we also provide gluten free options. Don't forget, if you are allergic to something or simply don't like one of the ingredients of a meal, we can cook it to your liking...just ask.
Just enjoyed a fabulous stay here as our anniversary treat . We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Diane and Carole , who turned out to very knowledgeable and passionate about all things Lancaster . Our room was well equipped with everything we needed , including coffee/tea , bottled water and hair drier . We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the spacious and airy restaurant with real fires adding to the atmosphere . We soon found lots of things to do in Lancaster thanks to Carole's knowledge , all within easy walking distance .
Free parking for the duration of our stay was a handy bonus I should mention .
Our thanks to all the staff who really enhanced the enjoyment of our stay, we enjoyed the beers and the super breakfast too, and will have to return to explore more .
