One of the nicest in the area, very clean azure water and not as much crowd as on other Beaches. The water temperature was perfect, the entrance to the see very slow.

Oil presses under the city and cheap to visit. Well restored. Fascinating really but not enough to merit the 3/4 hours that my husband spent in there. No signs in English and even those in Italian were hard to read in the poor light. Absolutely not for disabled or those with mobility problems as has a deep flight of steps

Un parco astronomico guidato magistralmente dal Sig. Vito Lecci.

A real small perl . The feeling of the Southern italian hospitality and atmosphere. A pleasure to sit in the main square at night.

The locals clearly take great pride in their small town which was clean and tidy. It was raining the morning we visited, and there were not many people in the town. A friendly local directed us to the small tourist information office in the main piazza opposite the main church. We were given a map which includes a suggested walk around the town. Unfortunately, the map information was all in Italian, and as tourism increases in Puglia, you can expect to find English versions. There is not a lot to see other than churches and some grand old homes. Do what we did which was to walk for about an hour than visit one of the few bars (we visited Martinucci by the piazza) for some welcome refreshment.
