The restaurant is no easy to reach because it's in Casarano center and so you have to park in the parking
at the entrance to Casarano and take a small walk, but I promise you will not regret it !
The place is very nice, also has a small courtyard with tables for eating outside and I advise you to book expecially in high season.
The menu includes all traditional specialities of Salentina cuisine and grilled meat .
I recommend you the "Oste Pazzo" appetizer , because
is very abundant and full of very good things and the dessert .

We all loved beautiful Le Stanzie, where we feasted on the most delicious and authentic local food you can imagine, served by lovely people.
The meal including a series of starters, fresh pastas, slow-cooked roasted and grilled meats and salad (not the least sniff of fish) and puddings too. Two meals at €40 each including wine and coffee were enough a family of four including two fussy teenagers and we still couldn't manage it all - the courses kept coming and coming and were all fantastic!
Having read previous reviews we asked to go on a tour of the place first (in English), and were fascinated by the old olive pressing area there. The masseria is a photographer's paradise, with tomatoes hanging to dry on the walls and fresh vegetables coming from field to table.
Book ahead and prepare to take things slowly - we arrived at 12.30 and left 4 hours later, stuffed and happy!

We had dinner with some friends. The chef suggested a variety of dishes and wines, so we followed his advice. Nothing was a better choice: the food was outstandingly good, dishes we never tasted before. Local wines, a pleasure to enjoy! Danilo, the chef, was presenting the menu himself: this is a dinner to remember!!

Great experience and awesome food. Only bad point would be the slow service, as the restaurant is quickly packed, overwhelming the servers.

- sul sito viene pubblicizzata la baby room, con tanti giochi per i bimbi tra cui anche uno scivolo gonfiabile (motivo per cui abbiamo scelto di mangiare in questo pub), ma purtroppo non c’è più. Fatto presente alla cameriera, ci risponde che è stata sostituita con una baby sitter che presenterà vari attività per i bambini;

Over a week in Casarano, tired of the traditional trattoria ( not much to choose from), I craved for something different! Accidentally found Leo's Fast Food, on my way to another restaurant. From San Francisco Bay Area, I've experienced amazing cuisines. I have to admit, this place served the most scrumptious, delicious gourmet street foods! Pretty much the entire town is here to eat! Anthony Bourdain, this one deserve to be on your show, Parts Unknown!#anthonybourdain #partsunknown

We had raw black mussels (cozze) , raw red shrimps, mussels au gratin, spaghetti with mussels... and a grilled Sea Bass (branzino)
The raw fish was prepared by Tonino just behind our table, nice to see they do care about the fish.
Food excellent, service was nice but the waiter which was taking orders was not so very kind, in fact very impersonal actually not listening to what I was saying. (I'm Italian native so language was not the obstacle)

Lu Riale is located in the old town of Matino and is a very nice place to eat Pizza in a casual Environment. The Pizzas are very good and the staff is friendly.
