Millennium project, pedestrian wooden bridge between Rapperswil and Hurden separating the lakes of Zurich, and the Obersee, constructed at the turn of the century, and inaugurated in April 2001. At about 920 yards, it is the longest wooden bridge in Switzerland (841 m) built on more than 200 supporting piles made of untreated oak with the expected lifetime of 50 to 70 years. Historically, it is a part of the Way of St. James, Jakobsweg or Via Jacobi in Switzerland, in between St Gallen and Einsiedeln Abbey. Scenic route offering beautiful panoramic views overs the lakes and surrounding Mountains, makes a nice walk from Pfaeffikon to Rapperswil.

The Horn at Richterswil offers a large youth hostel as well as a snack shop, open space, playground, lake access for swimming, volleyball and free restrooms. Also, within walking distance is the downtown area, Lake Promenade, boat dock, ferry, bus and train service, bocce ball club, lake swim club and a downtown area full of shops and restaurants.
From June through mid-September there is an art exhibit along the lakeshore and in the town.

First time I 'found' Theater Ticino I was just fascinated like a little child. It has a very nice scenery: close to the shore of lake zurich stands this old, black painted house, former restaurant for 'high society'. In the old ballroom (with old luster!) you can now find the stage + auditorium and the little inside-balcony, where back in the days the musicians used to play there instruments, is now used for the technical equipment. But not only the scenery is worth a visit: They inivte the cream of different theater-genres, musicians, and other artists all around europe/the world. You have a great variety to choose from and I'm sure it will always be something intressting/nice/worth seeing.
So, if you want to visit this theater, I highly recommend you to start the theater-evening by dining in the restaurant of the theater. They usually have two menus you can choose from or mix together, one of them of course beeing for vegetarians. The food is just sooo good. Last time I spoke with the cook and he explained, that he just buys from local farmers and also the meat is deliverd from one farm close to the city where they don't have all of this medication-cocktails for their cows/pigs/chicken... I'm always glad to hear that :) And definitly try the salad!!!
I haven't been yet but I heard during the summer-break of the theater they arrange an open-air cinema. So, let's all meet there! Hope you liked my review!

Especially for families with smaller kids or even with bigger kids showing interest in Botanics a worthy free weekend excursion especially in Summer or autumn. Take a leisured stroll brought the exhibits of mostly indigenous but also rare plants in the different stages of growth, bloom and subsequent decay.

I highly recommend this to everyone! The Alpenbad is the perfect combination of being in nature, enjoying an incredible view, relaxing in a hot tub of water, catching up with friends, while enjoying a good old Swill Fondue and a glass of wine. Heinz & Orlinda are incredibly awesome hosts that are attentive if requested, yet leave you privacy. If you are looking for something a bit different to relax, you need to give this a try! This is an adventure no matter what the weather, so rain or shine the Alpenbad this will be an incredible adventure!!

The casino not only offers exciting, top-caliber gambling pleasure, but also a visually pleasing experience and an outstanding bar selection.
been there for gambling a few times but it is the worst casino in the canton of Zurich! young kids trying to double up their salary and eventually loosing everything is terribly annoying. dealers don't really know what they are doing and if you are experienced they are just annoying you by handing out card without asking them. terrible place, I'll never go there again!
