We were visiting family in the city and decided to walk down to the restaurant which was clean and decorated tastefully. They served smaller portions of well prepared foods with the preparation taking the time to be plated as though from a much more expensive restaurant. We had 2 meals there on separate days, one lunch and one dinner both of which the service and food were consistent. We will be going here again upon our next vist.

If you are willing to forgo 'authenticity' for good flavours & good cooking, you should be pleased with this outpost--I bet the locals are!
Billing itself Singaporean/Thai, the a la carte lunch menu offered Thai, sure, but really more Cantonese than Singapore from what I could tell. There is a buffet, not too highly priced at between 14 >18 CHF depending on the accompaniments chosen. One of my luncheon chums reported it was "too limited" for her, so we attempted to share our table order --but despite pleasant repeated exchanges & assurances...in fact my two companion's soup starter came AFTER the 'mains'! Good Thai Green Chicken Curry (CHF17 50-consistency a tad too 'liquid') & an surprise, surprise-- a quite excellent Crispy Cantonese-style duck! ( CHF29.50).
But I have a gripe with the highly priced Extras..a glass of tap water> CHF 1.5oEACH! ! !. + our small bowls of undistinguished plain rice , a vicious CHF2 50 each!
Lunch for three totalled CHF 71.50- so its not 'steal' but if you're way down the lake at charming Wadenswil , seeing this is high priced Switzerland---this is worthwhile!

We found this little place by accident and were very happy we did. It has a good sized patio area and inside Seating. I went once with a co-worker and again later by myself. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our drink order was promptly taken and the staff was very patient with some translation of the menu into English.
I had the caprese salad and it was fresh with the right proportion of each ingredient. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven and served hot. The pizzas really are big enough for two to share, but many were eating their own. It seemed there were mostly locals eating each time I was there and the place was busy both times.
I sometimes travel through Zurich and have long layovers. I'll be going back here!

Dinner with a friend and his wife, who live in the area. Definitely a local spot with no pretensions. Sit outside in the Terrace area and watch the trains go by. Friendly service. We had the tartare and an order of chanterelles to start. I have had tartare in many parts of the world and this was one of the best. Fresh, nicely spiced and extremely tasty. The "Fitteller" salad plates are well worth it - a combination of different salads with a schnitzel along side. To offset the ehalthy aspect get the fries as well. Great food, cold beer, outdoors at Zurichsee - what else could you want. If in the area on business this is a local spot that is worth the visit.

The beer is really good, the atmosphere excellent and the food is good. The prices are fair. It is a nice place to go as well as in winter as in summer. Waiters are fast and friendly. We visit once in a while this place because it's good.

Eder's Eichmühle has the perfect location in the countryside a bit off Wädenswil. Their garden is wild and still very well maintained.
We went for the menu and were happy about the food. The first course was very nicely presented and tasted amazing (sashimi, prawn). The second dish was tempura fried Dover sole on a cucumber carpaccio - simple and nothing really exciting.
The main dish, Swiss lamb from the alps, was too heavy for me - a huge portion of meat!
The Cuban chocolate dessert on an apricot sauce was to die for!

We visited Pizzaeria Romantica as a celebration after our grandson's violin concerto . What a fabulous choice !! The owners are passionate friendly people who are there to serve...and to to serve good, wholesome, tasty food!!! The pizzas went down a treat for those who ordered and I have to say that the mussels looked and smelled fantastic [ordered by my daughter in law] - I had the gnocchi - certainly no complaints!!
Fantastic, bubbly ambience in the restaurant - relaxed happy patrons - definitely be back in a whizz!!

We came for late lunch to this nice place close to the A3 motorway.
We found three areas in this restaurant:
1. the classical part inside
2. a modern part in the winter garden with lots of glass windows
3. a country-style outside Seating area
We did go for option 2 and had an excellent lunch with lots to eat and great taste.
On top very friendly service personnel and plenty of parking lots outside.

We are a Thai Take-Away and Restaurant including food store for various asian food. The menues of this pretty little Thai restaurant attract foodies from a bigger area. The always freshly prepared dishes vary from mild to hellaciously hot - choose your level of suffering! Enjoy the dishes in our restaurant or have them wraped up for your home or your office. You'll find all kind of asian food to prepare your own meal at home. Always fresh vegetables, different curry pastes and various sauces available.
There are normally about four daily specials at this quaint little shop/restaurant but If you phone ahead, they will even make a dish specially for you.
My Chicken red curry was text book standard, very generous and packed with plenty of meat and veg. A pad thai, made to order, was similarly generous but perhaps a little sweet for some tastes. Other stir-fries were very good.
The staff are charming and one of them speaks very good English. The shop is also a good source of Thai ingredients.
