Lots of bells, and interesting written wish requests in the temple. Mostly crowded as local people hold it in great faith.

Chaubattia (height of around 7200 feet above sea level) located at around 10 kms south of the cantonment town of Ranikhet. After visiting U.S.A. and many countries of Europe that includes Switzerland, I can confidently say that it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is famous for its apple orchards too. In Chaubattia sighting a tiger at the back of your house was a common sight and hearing his roar was an everyday affair. Once a tigress walked for around 100 metres beside us as we slowly drove our car in route to Chaubattia. There was just a car door between us that prevented me from jumping on my seat but still it was scary yet most thrilling experience. Miraculously, there has not been a single incident where the fierce cat harmed any human. People there have deep faith on JhulaDevi (Goddess Durga) and there is a temple called JhulaDevi Mandir where they religiously bow.

A beautiful golf course laid out among the most beautiful pine Forests.
The problem faced is that the main arterial road passes right through the Golf course. Thoughtless tourists park cars on the road and walk onto the golf course and create havoc by littering on the course and children running around on the course does not allow you to play the game.
The golf hut is a beautiful old cottage and they make an excellent cup of tea. Totally spoiled by mindless idiotic tourists.

Very serene and clean lake. Environmentally very positive location with clean and wooded banks. Due to the lack of land available for disorganized development this remains another very clean and peaceful lake. The hotels on the sides of the lake are also dedicated to keeping the lakeside unspoiled.
Worth a visit and even a stay over.

I visited the temple with my family in the morning. Very peaceful place, you may sit there for a while.
If you are visiting Ranikhet then you should extract 1 hour to visit this temple.
After visiting the temple you can visit golf course which is just half a km away.

This beautiful Ram temple, which is a few minutes walk away from Jhula Mandir has Lord Ram as the presiding deity.
As it is on a height, it gives a picturesque view of the hills and the valley. In the temple campus is an educational Vedic institution where small children learn our Vedic heritage.
The environment of the temple is beautiful.
