We went there for brunch as we had heard a lot about them. Firstly we were the only ones in the place. There were twenty people walking around the restaurant but they still took more then an hour to serve us. The food was OK, I won’t call it exceptional. The popular Tokri Chaat was wort the wait, the tea was nice(probably because they just made it). The sandwiches were nice but nothing extra ordinary. The place is clean, family friendly but I would say it’s a bit hyped up for what we experienced. I am not sure if I would go back especially for their food. The service was not bad at all but I guess the kitchen made them look inefficient ! Anyhow, they need to stay on top of things as we came on such high recommendation but left unimpressed.

Had to visit once so i went to tunday kababi at aminabad, cant say i am disappointed but it could have been better. being a delhiite i guess i have eaten much better Galauti kabab's at our very own Rajinder ka Dhaba in Safdarjung. BUT the prices at TUNDAY KABABI are shockingly very low. Everything in the menu looks like its for free.

Casual Dining with an open air ambience clubbed with classy air conditioned Seating. The restaurant has a policy of serving light home cooked kind of meals which are light on the stomach and pocket.
Pack n Chew on the centrally located but quaint Gokhale Marg is a place full of mouthwatering delights. The preparations are very fresh, tasty and not overtly priced. Infact, many big destinations derive their bakery products from here.
Chicken frilled Sandwich, paneer hotdog, slices of walnut cake, etc just happen to be too good. I have visited it many a times and from many years. The taste and freshness with decent pricing is always maintained.
I would suggest go out on an evening and relish from the wide variety in the menu.

Dastarkhwan has become synonymous with Lucknow now in terms of must visit place for food. Dastarkhwan started some 30 years ago from hazratganj(where they still exist and serving) and later ventured out into amazing food joints across the city of Lucknow. There are around 4-5 restaurants in and around Lucknow of Dastarkhwan. The USP of this place is amazing non veg dishes and how good they taste. But to really enjoy your meal I would suggest you to go to actual place where it all started and have it. I really enjoyed there mutton biryani, shahi toast, boti kabab and giloti kabab with Maida wala Roti (which by the way taste amazing). Other dishes are also good. Please go atleast once whenever you visit Lucknow.

We visited this restaurant twice during our week long stay in Lucknow. Excellent barbecued starters of fish, chicken, veggies and fruit. The skewers are replaced on the grill on your table as soon as you are close to finishing those already there! The starters are so delicious it is difficult not to fill up on these and have no room for the buffet and dessert! Varied buffet and excellent selection of desserts. Eat as much as you like for the fixed price and tips not accepted! Great team of staff who all work so hard to ensure you enjoy your meal and who all look so happy too. Congratulations to the management for achieving this teamwork!

Its In The Bylanes Of The Main Market
Before you indulge..You have to learn what is Nihari.. Lamb shanks stewed over very slow fire overnight.. with select sweet spices. Best enjoyed in winters with Kulcha (several layered indian bread).

An excellent place for meat lovers to try out Mughal Dishes and Kabas. The galauti and seekh kababs are excellent mutton dishes. The chicken tangdi kababs were one of the best I have tasted. We visited the restaurant three times in five days and worked our way through the menu. Good ambience and Seating for groups makes it a perfect place to have good Mughal meal. The desserts though were a let down. But we didn't go there for desserts!
This place should not be confused with the other restaurant also named Dastarkhwan. The ambience here is much better apart from the food.

We visited Lucknow during December 2017.
We took out time and went to Tunde Kababi for lunch one day. the place is located within the old city and is in heavy traffic prone area. Self driving is not recommended hence we took an OLA.
The restaurant is in a small lane and they have a Seating arrangement at the basement of the restaurant. Seating area has separate section for family. We ordered Galwti kabab, mutton biryani, paratha. Believe me the kababs literally melts in the mouth and has mind blowing taste. Same with biryani.
Service is quick, menu is moderately priced and restaurant looked quite clean.
For me - Tunde lived up to my expectations.
Highly recommended
Pros:
1. Amazing food
2. Quick service
3. Moderately priced menu
Cons:
1. Located in a crowded area, can take you lot of time to reach this place.
A must visit when you are in Lucknow
