One of the famous restaurant and best spot for non-veg lovers. The outlet is cozy and comfortable and exactly how you would wish to dine at night. Since I was here on New Year eve, the restaurant was cozy and we have to wait for our turn to get a table.
The staff is good and courteous. We eventually struggled at the payment counter since the their card machine had a problem with No 3. If the PIN has 3 in it then the transaction will not go through. Since I had another couple in the trip so they took the bill on their card.
Situated exactly on the mall road, just behind the famous church and Naini Lake. The view from the window was amazing and I can assure the morning breakfast will be definitely great with such an awesome scenery.
I would recommend this place for non-vegetarians as I could not get a chance to try veg options.

Originally started in 1944 in Nanital, Sakley's the Mountain Cafe is a treat for anyone looking at leaving behind the hustle bustle of city life and immersing themselves in the magic of the hills. The menu at Sakley's comprises of a delectable mix of soups, all day breakfast options, pizzas, pastas, sizzlers, steaks, sandwiches, burgers, hot and cold beverages
sakley's have a branch in Delhi as well, and that gives more feel of a mountain cafe than this one, which is practically on a mountain!! :p
especially when its a chain ur talking about, you come to expect the same quality and standard irrespective of the location.
so when i was in Nainital a couple of days back, i was ideally walking on the mall road, and chanced upon this cafe, so decided to have my dinner there, as its one of my favourite eateries in Delhi.
the decor is good with focus on wooden furnishing, the playlist is great too...the service is decent enough!!
though we ordered just 2 items from the menu, but that was enough to tell me that my expectation of fine quality wont be met here, having said that, given the generic customers and audience of that place, they are decent enough!!
i ordered their Tom Kha soup, which is one of my favourites and i wasnt disappointed, it was rich and a hearty portion was served with oodles of veggies and adequate coconut milk.
next i tried their grilled fish in lemon butter sauce which was completely opposite and a disaster....the fish was certainly not fresh....it wasnt grilled rather was shallow fried, giving it a rubbery skin....the sauce was not and tangy lemon butter one but instead was as thick cream/ white sauce/rue based one...the veggies served alongside were the only saving grace!!
though i didnt have quite a good experience esp. cuz of the fish, still i might visit the place again to try out their pizzas and other offererings.

Cafe'Chica'is set in the Abbotsford lawns as an outdoor cafe' looking across to the lush mountain ranges as one enjoys the fresh home made culinary delights cooked under the supervision of Ms Janhavi Prasada, who always wanted to run a cafe' of her own. Delicious stuffed croissants, roasts, grills, pastas, soups n salads is what is offered apart from the day's specials. So come with your friends or family for a perfect bonding, share your appetite with us.

The reason I've mentioned they have toilets too because earlier some reviewers mentioned they don't have toilets, but actually they do NOW.
Cafe Chica is named after the owner's pet and the reason we visited specially from Ramgarh to this place because our pet dog is also called Chica.
Now talking about the place, it's located at Abbotsford hotel and it's a steep drive above the Nainital high court. It's really a beautiful place with nice royal Seating arrangement in the garden with such amazing picturesque view of Nainital hills.
Food was good, we ordered pizza and ice teas, they were nice. The pizza was great but the drinks were very average and served in very small glasses.
They have a limited menu and little overpriced. Service was commendable and the lady manager was very polite n welcoming.
I would surely suggest this place for a nice romantic meal.

This is an average restaurant with average food. Though they have an exhaustive menu but most of the things are not available. What you really get is basic North Indian fare and some chinese dishes like chilli chicken, chowmein etc. The place lacks in cleanliness and hygiene and the staff is not very willing to cater to the customers.
Overall, quite disappointing. But considering, this is the only decent place for eating in Kausani, you might stop to datiate your hunger pangs.

There are not a lot of restaurants in Binsar area and this one stands out because of the location, the restaurant has good ambiance with options of indoor and outdoor Seating options(pics attached). Its located in the premises of "Mohan's Binsar Retreat" which looked like a very decent B&B to me.
We chose to order a mix of Indian food- Roti, Yellow Dal and curry as well as Italian- Chicken Pizza and Chicken Pasta. The Pizza and Pasta were definitely good but were on the pricier side. Indian food were good too and arrived much faster than the Italian food. We felt the Indian preparation was better as compared to the Pizza and Pasta.
Food Quality: Good
Ambiance: The best in Binsar
Service: Non Intrusive slow service
Good for: Family as well as Couple
Overall: A must visit place when in Binsar/ people visiting Kasar Devi temple

Delicious cakes, thalis, snacks and a loving atmosphere with good vibrations! Try our amazing apple-crumble!<br>We are open only season-wise: Usually Baba Cake remains closed July/August and closes end of December to reopen in March. This might vary depending on the season.
Having come across Baba Cake accidentally with no expectations, it was one the of the greatest experiences. On a late evening walk whilst in Kasar Devi we ended up here planning to grab some cake and go. Once we entered and met Baba we knew...MoreHi there!
