Agia Paraskevi beach can be considered a quiet replica of Krioneri beach from Parga. A long enough sandy beach with a small island in front.
The water is calm, warm and very clear. The area between the beach and the island is not very impressive for snorkeling because is mostly sandy with large portion of deep seagrass.
But if you want to take a longer swim you can have a good underwater landscape on the left side of the island where de water goes deep and very deep, or on the right side towards the small reef emerging from water in the middle between the right shore and the northern end of the small island.
If you want to see the vertical rocky western shore of the Agia Paraskevi Island you have to swim around 400 meters to reach that area.
The right side reef is closer (about 250 meters away) and from there you can go towards the right shoreline and come back to the beach along this side.
On my snorkeling marking scale the score for Agia Paraskevi Beach is 4 from a maximum of 5 points, but you have to swim long distances for reaching the best snorkeling sites.

Bella Vraka beach is considered one of the main attractions of Syvota. A beach on a small island very close to the Mainland that can be reach by foot walking on a shallow water istm.
In reality it is not quite a very easy acces to the beach because in the first place you have to climb and go down by foot the main land hill (there is no parking near the beach). After that you have to cross the water that in September 2017 was almost bellow the belly. And because the beach is not organized you have to carry also your beach equipment with you, including the refrigerated box for drinks.
Any how, mainly for the tourist staying in the uphill hotels Bella Vraka remains their first option beach.
Near Bella Vraka there is another unorganized small beach called Mourtemeno beach.
In the area there are a lot of nautical activities, but organized mainly for the guest of the 4-5* nearby hotels.

The road descending towards Sarakiniko beach is steep and has many turns and 6 km long.
We were surprised to see that in mid-September the beach was almost full of tourists.
It is true that the beach Panorama is very beautiful but only after entering the water we manage to have a complete picture of this beach. The water was very warm and crystal clear.
The underwater landscape is also impressive making the snorkeling here a great pleasure.
We stay on this beach until sunset so we had three long rounds of snorkeling with a total of about 4 hours. We snorkel twice on the left side around the isolate rocks emerging from the water and once for 300 meters along the right rocky shore.
The best snorkeling playing ground is on the left side, along the left shore and around the big isolated rock. In the beginning the water depth is 2-4 meters, going deeper up to 10-12 meters. The underwater visibility was 25-30 meters and above.
The huge underwater boulders and rocks create an unique submerged landscape. There are also many small and medium size fish.
On the right side of the bay the rocky shoreline goes almost vertically under the water directly to depth of 6-8 meters, so on this side you do not have a resting area where you can touch the bottom with your feet.
On my snorkeling marking scale the score for Sarakiniko Beach is 5 from a maximum of 5 points. It was the best snorkeling beach that we found the entire coast between Syvota and Parga.

Take the train from Parga through lovely village of Anthoussa to the castle . Lots of wonderful views and a very historic place , not muck left but still worth the visit. It cost 8 euros to catch the road train and is worth the money , stopping in the village on the way back for a drink 2 hrs well worth doing

Karavostasi is maybe the best and most well known beach in this area. A wide one , open with crystal waters IF there are no waves! We visited twice during our staying at Perdika but the first one had waves and the second one it has seaweeds and a kind of "dust" on the water so we could not enjoy it very much. The beach has thick sand and same inside the sea and this is a big difference with the most other Beaches which have small or bigger stones. There are a few beach bars with sun beds and umbrellas free of charges the most of them I think. It is worth it to try and if you are lucky, you will enjoy a wonderful beach!!!!

Nice beach, busy 2 tavernas, shop and lots of sunloungers, bean bags to relax on. Bit too busy for us. Would recommend beach shoes as pebbly in sea. Only took us 30 mins to walk to from Villa Marie.

The castle is definitely worth visiting! The views to both Valtos beach and Parga town are great. Especially the view to Parga town was beautiful in the evening! We were lucky to be there during full moon, so we got amazing pictures. There is also a very nice cafe, so you can enjoy the view while having a drink.

Went on the Parga train to visit the watermill and Museum then a walk up to the Waterfall. Lovely 1 hr and 45 mins trip. The girl that was the guide was very knowledgeable and was explaining things on the way there and then all about the watermill. It's up a steep hill and bit of off road walking to get to the Waterfall so if you have any trouble walking it's not a good idea to go. There's a very nice reasonable cafe at the watermill as well. The trip cost €8 each.

We have been to Perdika many times over the years and have always dropped into Katies Cakes located in a very picturesque setting in this charming Greek village. Here you can get a coffee, cakes, a beer, snacks of the highest quality. Kate is your English cake maker accompanied by her friendly Greek husband Sakis, with occasional sightings of their three children.
Their place has superb, not to be missed, views down to the sea - so bring your camera.
(Kate closes on occasional afternoons but she will open - just for you)
Not to be missed.

Best place to unwind and watch the amazing sunsets of Sivota, great service as always. Always enjoy drinking here before a meal and will be back next year.
