Well worth the visit and incredible to see how it looks from the outside so 5 stars for what you visualise... but terrible in terms of guide and history what we were told I could of read on the Internet in 10 minutes. It's so short a each place and it's not sweet, you get off the bus take photos and back on the bus there's no talk about history or a reason to why it is how it is!! One guide between 40 people is very hard to ask questions and learn why. When you do ask a question I got the such a plain answer. One tip at JSA would be to speak to one of the US personal they will tell a few things that are interesting and answer your questions about the area

This is a man-made lake...with a nice walking path. It is fairly large...on the north shore of the lake, there are some nice places to eat/shop. Not particularly exciting but if you are in Ilsan, this is just about the only place to go.

I have always wanted to visit this place, but thought I would never get there!
Excellent place to visit.
Dorosan Station
Get in to the station quick. They have some interesting souvenirs and you only get 15 minutes.
Hint: buy a ticket at Dorosan station for your trip to North Korea (one way only!). Great memento.
Lookout site.
Get to see North Korea and some of the guardhouses alone the border.
Tunnel site.
The tunnel ride is not for the disabled, so spend some time, doing the movie and the museum. Very interesting to read about the tunnels and the various incidents.
Lots of space, to wander around, but not much to see at the tunnel site otherwise.

The tunnel itself is not much to see but the whole concept from information about the tunnels, the decent, walk in the tunnel and final ascent was really interesting. Given that the boarder is so close to Seoul, it gave me lots of thoughts about the effect of a new real conflict in the area

Interesting place full of somber history, memorials and displays which starkly contrasts with the amusement park and stores selling DMZ souvenirs. An interesting place, but do you want a DMZ tote bag or coffee mug to remember the war and the dead? Lots of school children out on field trip contrasting with the bridge of no return closed to the public because of North Korean mines on the other end to deter defectors. A place of contrasts.

Still a cool spot along the DMZ/JSA tour but overall it's pushing through tourists just to put fifty cents into a set of binoculars and stare at the demilitarized zone. While it's very cool to see some of it from the Observatory there's not much else to it other than a gift shop.

We stopped by the village after a visit to the DMZ. Nothing stand out to be very extraordinary except that it is one of the location of filming of "My love from the star". We spent maybe half an hour just to walk about.

This was built hoping that the North and South will, in the future, be reunified. The whole place is empty except for a few items on display and a gift shop.

The water park have indoor and outdoor part. Friend remind must to wear swimming cap, otherwise you can't play, and don't throw the receipt when you leave the changing room, because you need to use the receipt to exchange the lift jacket, if you don't have receipt, you need to pay 6000 won to rent one. Have a fun and enjoy many activities.

The American base at the demilitarized zone.
I can't say much about this place. You're not allowed to take photos and are basically waiting for the military police to come on the bus and escort you to a loading area where another military bus will take you to the JSA. On the way out of the JSA you stop back at the camp for the souvenier shop. So there is not really anything to be said about the camp itself.
