We arrived at 7 pm, only to find that the famed la paz batchoy was only available until 6 pm. Disappointed, we nevertheless proceeded to order several entrees and appetizers. And ALL were delicious, except for the chicharon bulaklak. The vegetable dishes were especially yummy. We will be back.

Mentioned in various tripadvisor traveler articles/forum about Bacolod
This is turo-tuto style in a “sosyal” venue. The food choices aren’t much , best options would be the grilled ones. I wish they would instead use transparent covers on their serving dishes lining up the food counter. Staff is polite and alert. Dishes are tasty. Place is really beautiful.

THE ORIGINAL BACK RIBS IN HOMESITE Home of Bacolod's Best backribs Formerly known as Lord Byron's Backribs Bacolod
The famous backribs of Lord Byrons never disappoints. I remember first tasting it back in early 2000s when the big cut was priced at 75php only! Backribs was the only food served and we ate at the owner's parking lot. Now, they have a bigger place across the street, with ribs now priced at 150php and with other items on their menu. Recently we had lunch there and I'm happy its as flavorful as i remember. Cravings satisfied!

Best lengua estofada(ox tongue), callos, chicken relleno, baba cake, churros. Excellent service and toilets. It's a must to visit and try this institution. I learned that Bascon has been in the food industry in this province since 1956. Also trythe best lasagna. Their cakes are reasonably price, and can out taste those in manila.

Natural Food made from scratch, included daily Artisan Bread. They make their own Ham, smoked Bacon, their own Cheese etc. No soft drinks only fresh juices. Every week there are new Specials on the menu, fresh from the Markets. All the dishes are based on the Classic International Kitchen, made from local products, as available Organic, with a Filipino twist. You can have lunch or dinner in the Phinma Galery in The Negros Museum or at the Terrace under the old trees. Museum Cafe is concidered Best Restaurant of Bacolod by GMA News TV Ang Pinaka and lifestyle webpage ClickTheCity!
I like it that you have option if you want to dine outside of the restaurant or inside. They have very unique concept of Menu list which is written on the board. Good price for that classy and upscale restaurant.

I was surprised when Pendy's moved to a new location (the old one was a lot better). I was told the lease expired and the owner wanted to out another restaurant. We've always visited a Pendy's for breakfast and pasalubong stuff (napoleones). Hopefully they can find a good spot again a relive the quaint feel.

Lord Byron's has the best baby back ribs in Bacolod. The price is unbeatable by competitors. The serving is also big, which makes it really a deal. The place is not really that accessible. Its a bit far from the city center. Don't miss this when you are in Bacolod.
