We stopped here for lunch on our way back to London from Tobermory, We were doing our own tour of towns along Lake Huron. All weekend away in Tobermory I was looking for decent fish and chips and couldn't find any! After convincing myself that it was me (maybe my palette changed?) and not the fish and chips our friend recommended the Erie Belle for fish and chips. We sat on the patio with a view of the Lake. It was a Monday during lunch time, so it wasn't very busy (a few other tables on the patio). I ordered the fish and chips and my husband ordered the shepherds pie. Finally I was satisfied with an amazing fish and chips meal! Batter was perfect (not too thick or greasy), fish was Haddock and cooked perfectly and was fresh. The fries were fantastic as well, hand cut and tasty! My husband really enjoyed his meal as well but for sure the fish and chips are what their known for. We will for sure be back. Our server was great, we had no complaints regarding the service at all and were very satisfied with our meal.

Un has time we found ourselves at Gilley's. The patio is great sheltered under a huge shady tree, and bright ow umbrellas. Our waiter, Benjamin, was simply amazing, very personable and efficient. The food was great, very simple and basic, but great flavours!

Wandered in off the street while exploring Kincardine for the first time. It's generic Chinese buffet food quality, small selection, $20 a person. Absolutely not worth the price, would never stop here again. Service was inattentive and rude. Avoid!

Found this place a bit overpriced on menu items and buffet. We ordered a dish and a steamed rice to go. The simple basic steam white rice costs an outrageous $3.5! Then we had to go back to ask for utensils and napkins. That made the experience quite unpleasant, in contrast to many other Chinese restaurants across the land.

Akima House Korean and Japanese Restaurant offers you an exquisite Japanese and Korean dining experience in Kincardine Ontario. Delicious and authentically prepared sushi, sashimi, maki and temaki all await you. Start with an appetizer and then move to either a soup or salad. Browse through an extensive menu that has a great selection of sushi, party trays, set courses, pan fried noodles, noodles with soup, donburi, fried rice and much more. Lunch specials are also offered at a great value. We are located in Sutton Park Inn in Kincardine Ontario.
Chinese,Korean or Japanese foods offered. Warm Sake was very good, as was the Goyza, but spring rolls had too much dough around them ( as did the tempura shrimp) and garlic powder overwhelmed. Food arrived quickly but service after that was non-existent: needed more staff!

The restaurant has been renovated and is quite nice. The service was extremely slow....we waited 30 minutes for our food. The food was terrible and expensive. Three of us ordered vegetable stir fry....frozen green beans, onion and mushroom. No fresh vegetables at a time when there re so many local vegetables available....no even a red pepper. @ of the stir fry dishes added chicken ($3 for 3 tiny little pieces of chicken). I took my meal to go so I could fry it at home with fresh vegetables, and the waitress argued with me that there were lots of vegetables....terrible attitude. I will NEVER eat there again, nor will the other three people.

I was invited for my birthday celebration early morning . The coffee is delicious , the service is fast and the prices are aforable . I was surprised that only take cash or cheque: not debit or credit card but it was not a problem . It will be great if they have insta cream or substitute for milk for the people who is lactose intolerant . It's family restaurant in kincaedine , with not more than 10 tables and everybody knows everybody , make you feel at home . The portions are generous and the taste delicious . I will comeback for sure !
