Private open air museum showing traditional Burgenland village. Buldings are concetrated in a small (=nice) area, interiors are richly equipped. Short distance from Vienna or Bratislava, extra recommended when staying longer by eastern part of Neusiedler See.

This baroque castle near Neusiedler see is an excellent example of architekture building and surronding park. It is the most important baroque palace in the Burgenland, once served as hunting lodge and summer residence to the Austrian imperial household. Everything is in symetry and useful is even simple sitting in the park admiring silence and harmony. Special attention is needed to devote to excellent quality wines growing in this area. It is worths for short trip!

Die kleine Brauerei ist für kurze Besichtigungen bestens geeignet. Die Kostproben die wir bekommen haben waren richtig gut zu trinken und die Erklärungen des Brauereimitarbeiters waren sehr informativ. Man kann die Biere auch gleich im Shop mit nach Hause nehmen. Toller Ausflug!!!

Nice sailing club with a lot of possibilities! We rented a HobyCat 15 for an hour at reasonable prices. They ask a sailing passport or prove of sailing experience. We could not provide this but they let us a boat anyway. Afterwards we took some drinks on the Terrace! Very nice relaxing area with a superb view on the water!

Sometimes we come here for a relax. There are some saunas and a nice pool. But this time we do not enjoy so much the wellness, because we miss the smiling and kind personnel. The ladies at the cashier (at entering and also going out) was dulled and without smile or kindness. No information, no care and no interesting. Only the sauna ceremony boys was kind, smiling and care about people.
We enjoy the extreme minus degrees after sauna.

Pier with the light tower in Podersdorf am See is a romantic picturesque place and although it is small I tend to stay long, taking pictures, watching waterfowl and surfers and enjoying fresh air smelling after water. I simply love it there.

Parndorf has good discounts and many interesting shops, but every time I visited it, it was full of people, and you need to wait in a queue to enter the shop...Guess, for example is always messed up, too many people grabbing and throwing things around....All together, it is recommended to visit Parndorf on weekdays.

Heike und Gernot Heinrich verstehen es die Leute für Ihre Weine zu begeistern, was bei dieser Qualität nicht sonderlich schwierig ist.
Man wird auf dem Weingut sehr freundlich empfangen und man kann sich alles gut anschaun.
Die anschließende Verkostung ar auch top. von jung bis alt haben wir einiges verkostet und uns auch schön was mitgenomen..

We visited the winery and had an great experience meeting the owner and wine maker directly. He shared his passion and knowledge, he was very welcoming and made us enjoy each moment. Perfect host. The property is very nice, worth a visit.
