Situated in Palazzo Pianetti, the foremost example of 18th-century architecture in Jesi, the museum is known for its unique Rococo gallery of ornate polychrome stuccos, the only one of its kind in central Italy. The main floor houses an important collection of art from older periods who stands out as one of the major artists of the Renaissance. Above it, on the same floor as the private apartments occupied by the Pianetti family since the early 1900s, the Gallery of Contemporary Art houses a display of art works dating from the mid 19th century to the present day.

Very beautiful. Honestly I liked it better than more famous Umbrian and Tuscan medieval centers. Do go....

We visited this library of 6,000 rare and valuable books in Jesi, Italy in May, 2016. It is housed in a lovely palazzo, once a government building, but now home to many unusual books and 2 huge old world globes. For those interested in rare books, this is a special treat

This wonderful multimedia exhibit is truly amazing. We presented and very informative. Surprisingly it was even open when all of Italy was at the beach for the holiday but we and many others delightedly found the hour and a half tour very good. Thanks also to the wonderful administrator whose English helped us and showed us that Fredrick II was truely a man ahead of his times.

Great food, craft beers and good music! This is our special place: Passione Malto. A pub where you can find friends, several kind of craft beers from all over the world, good sandwiches and rare whisky. We're also homebrewing supplies retailers. So if you are visiting Jesi you can't miss it!

We attended the sunday evening sung service and had the opportunity to listen to impressing organ music. There's a very big Zanin Organ which is among the biggest in the region. The organist Marco Agostinelli really impressed us with his masterful organ pieces. They have a sung service every sunday evening at 6.30 pm: very relaxing. It's the best way to colse your visit to the church. We asked the pastor a few information and he was very helpful and gave us a complete tour in English through the many hidden little treasures that can be found there: from the stately bronze gates of the church to the relics od the three saints enshrined inside the building: St. Septimius, St. Florianus and Pope Leo IV and the red marble Lions and baptismal font from the former gothic church.
