This is not the typycal seafood restaurant you would expect in Sicily or even in Italy. Sure, there are "antipasti", appetizers , "primi piatti" main dish course and "secondi" grilled or panfried fish, but the appetizers, for example, are simple divine, raw scampi and red shrimps, swordish and tuna marinated with excellent extra-virgin olive oil followed by creative main courses. Mediterranean tradidion and innovation at its best! Excellent quality at an unmatchable price! Definitively a must if you visit this part of Sicily.

Typical sicilian food, excellent wine selection, all locally based. Very special interior in the restaurant like a living room in an old and traditional house. The owner was very supportive, we enjoyed it and we will come back again definitely. We did not expected such a restaurant in Vittoria.

Vino bianco quasi assente.....e caldo.

Veramente in gamba! Ottimi vini.

Cantunera is our homemade pastry shop of fresh and salt typically Sicilian, which is located in the heart of the historical center of our city, Comiso, in the southeast of Sicily, among Iblei and the Mediterranean. Cantunera is a bet on Sicily, land of sun, sea, almond, carob and citrus fruit, nice people, good music and great food. Each product (arancini, cannoli, cookies, cassata and other traditional sweets) is made with care through the use of local raw materials of the highest quality expertly selected. Is handcrafted using traditional methods and served fresh and fragrant to the customer who will be delighted, pampered and intoxicated at the same time. Every food product in our laboratory is healthy and natural, high quality, no preservatives, no hydrogenated fats, no dyes; is the same product that we give to our daughters. Respect for the consumer is our watchword, their confidence is our confirmation.
Francesco, the young waiter in this restaurant, is fantastic. From the moment we arrived in Comiso and found this restaurant (through Trip Advisor), he was fantastic. He recommended the ragu arancini--which was so tasty--and helped us out later when trying to organise a taxi. The following day I arrived in while Francesco was drinking an espresso (bought in from a local cafe, I think), and I asked him for one. The restaurant wasn't open yet to serve but he shared his espresso with me. Such a nice gesture. Definitely the nicest person we met on our trip to Sicily.
