We started by walking around this cute town and then decided to take the tram up to the top of the hill. Beautiful views

This was the best beach of over 20 we visited in 2 weeks. White sand, good for swimming, not too crowded and a great relaxing bar/cafe in the middle of the beach to chill out in with hand-made chairs and lounges hidden in the trees.
It also is great if you have a dog.

Great ride down to the lake & back, 60€ each for approx 4 hours. Our guide was fluent in English and able to build a ride around our varying degrees of ability.
Great horses.
Very well kept, happy, calm and obliging horses... a credit to the team.

Soft clean sand. Turquoise blue sea. Bay framed by village at one end & rocky headland on other. Variety of beachfront restaurants. Railway runs along coast.

We stopped at Licciola to grab lunch after spending the first half of the day at Plage d'Ostriconi. The menu is simply sandwiches, soft drinks and some sweets. The food was great, and the man and woman behind the counter were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Our three families of 12 people in total were served very quickly and everything was exactly as we ordered. Prices are also very reasonable. The cafe is situated at the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean, with outdoor tables under a shady gazebo on a great deck that gives fantastic 180 degree views. We truly enjoyed it and would go back again without question. Get your Sandwich on baguette for just an additional 30 cents, the sliced white bread was fine and the sandwiches were toasted well, but everyone in our group liked the baguette much better.

Plage de Lozari is a long sweeping bay with a lovely sandy beach. There has been a lot of work done on renovating the wild grasses and other plants and fencing them off. The wetlands behind the beach also seem to have been well looked after.
It all looks fabulous.
The large carpark also has what looks like a small museum and info centre but this was shut the day we visited. There is also a restaurant/bar at either end.
There's a very pictaresque walk around the point to the torre worth doing.
Only complaint is they lefy one small tree in the centre of the carpark, just in the right spot to back in to....

Great walk to a ruined hilltop village, currently being restored. Wear good walking shoes and be aware that it starts at the town of Lumio just out of Calvi, we kept walking up the hill through a gate and then down through beautiful stone walled path, this part took about an hour, it is stunning and worth it, it brings you back to Lumio, but just down from where the walk starts at hotel Chez Charles

A fabulous little shop with excellent products in a beautiful and picturesque village. We parked for free on the outskirts of the village and walked only a couple minutes to the centre. There is a pay car park in the village.
