This moated medieval village is worth a visit. Beautiful square and church. Great shops and cafes and restaurants. Spend a day strolling around and take in the beauty. On the Brittany coast in the Briere Park. South are the famous salt flats. Loved it and the people are great!

Nous avons eu la chance de n'être que tous les 2 pour une balade d'une heure (qui a duré pas loin d'une heure 1/4). Cassandre est vraiment très sympa, on a passé un excellent moment, très agréable.

Not a Custard Cream or a Hob-Nob to be found. Call yourselves a biscuiterie? Where's the Penguins?! Tunnocks Wafers?! Jaffa Cakes? Pathetic.

Fantastic tree climbing adventure park in South of Brittany since 2003
We arrived to find the gates locked. We had sent a reservation email late the night before, but it appears it hadn't arrived. But Gwen the owner opened up just for us, anyway! So we had the place to ourselves. Our kids are 5, 10, 12 and not experienced in zip wires. But they gained confidence as the rating system allows them to start on easy stuff first. The surf board and the cycle are such great ideas and our kids loved them - it really makes for a diverse and fun day out. We got a taxi from Piriac - no taxi rank but we googled a number and one arrived after 30 mins so worth planning ahead.

We stumbled across this attraction en route for the parc Briere and were so glad we visited these beautifully preserved houses with wonderfully thatched roofs. There are placards with an English translation which are very clear. Do visit.

The Ocearium, it is 3 oceans to discover: Set off for the tropics, thanks to the exhibition 'The Lagoon' and discover species from the coral reef.Have fun with the penguins...Approach the Turtles of our Nautilus...Walk through the underwater tunnel and admire the wringed rays...Thrill facing the amazing sharks from Australia...Don't wait to come on board, open your eyes and enjoy your trip!
Had so much fun here? Was great to see so. Any beautiful colourful fish on display! Loved the giant tortoises - beautiful! Penguins were also great fun but of course the highlight was the impressive shark tank! 12.50€ entry and I'd say you'd spend 1-1.5 hours there.

I didn't go into this actual establishment but rather drove around and stopped off at various locations and watched the salt being made. Various vans sell the produce from the pool directly along the roadside. I came back at dawn the following morning to get some photos of the sky reflected in the various square pool/fields for great images!!

A museum well worth its salt ! This original and colourful world a unique opportunity to combine a feast for the eyes with the discovery of a region and its heritage steeped in the history of salt.
A lot more interesting than you might expect a "Salt Museum" to be! We had seen the salt flats which surround this area, as well as the salt on sale everywhere and wondered how it was produced. The museum collection is very well put together, covering different production methods from around the world and is very informative. I was pleased to see that my part of the world (Cheshire, UK) was included on the map of salt areas of the world! I especially liked the films (many with English subtitles) and the section on the way of life of the salt workers.

Very nice place for climbing. Enthusiastic team of people who really help. Only a few people who speak English but if you take your time they will help. Few tips: in the afternoon they start after their brake at 14:00. The food (cheeseburger croq monsieur) come out of a microwave. Bring your own lunch. 4 ice cream and 4 drinks 13 euro. Good price. The playing ground is a bit dated. Their strong point is the climbing area for sure! Parking for free. Daughter is 5 son is 7.

Our kids asked to stay at the beach. It was not bad, but in Ccarnac it was more lively and water was a bit warmer. It was more fun for adults when we walked side streets - many nice villas.
