Restaurant ouvert tous les midis sauf les mercredis et dimanches Ouvert le soir le lundi , jeudi , vendredi et samedi (et mercredi de juillet à août)
We read reviews about this restaurant before visiting and sought it out while in Guerande. Cosy setting, good food, a warm welcome from the owner/staff made it a enjoyable experience. Finding somewhere serving good food at reasonable prices with a pleasant ambiance is always refreshing.

Dropped in by chance as we were passing, and thought the decor was interesting and quirky (have never eaten under a long boat before!) so decided to eat. Pizza and steaks went down well - limited choice for a dairy free meal but still enjoyed the food. Had a laugh with the maitre d' - he spoke very little English so used simple French and we managed to exchange some banter. Apparently the kir royales are great (my friend said after her third!) and the coffee was really good. Boys enjoyed their ice-cream. Wasn't packed out in August, but the atmosphere was lively enough and we enjoyed ourselves.
Monsieur le chef, le hockey jouer, merci pour une bonne soiree.

A kind fellow patron helped our small group with the menu. It was, after all, only our second dining experience in France. I ended up with essentially a hamburger covered with a crepe and sauced with cheese, and, of course, frites!
Utterly charming experience and tasty food.

Tea house and shop.
The start was not perfect as we wanted to drink cider being in Brittanny and this was only possible if we also ate something. As it was lunch time, we decided to give it a go. I must admit I looked into the plates of...MoreSorry for the start. We cannot serve alcohol without food because we have no license. But thank you very much for your good review about the food and the decoration . Hope to see you again in Guérande

I tried the Menu Set for the day. I had Rump Steak and Nem Chocolat et Banane. Both of them were very nice, the Nem especially.
We had breads as appetizer as usual, but with the salted butter, which is a specialty of Guerande. Very nice.
The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly.

We had lunch here, sitting outside in what feels more like an alleyway than a Terrace but that just adds to the character. Service was friendly and reasonably prompt. It was a fairly typical "Galette and Crepe" menu which we enjoyed with the near obligatory cidre!

Au Gré des Marées is a bar in huitres and seafoods, to have a rough time on the spot or to take. Selection of white wines to accompany your shells and shellfishes. Daily load - Cooking house. Continuous service(department) in season
We were recommended this restaurant by our host. It does just seafood but that was fine with us. The restaurant is small and the decor quite minimal. The young man who worked there was most helpful, even though his English was not good. He went put of his way to ensure all was well with our meal. We shared a platter of fruits of the sea, being oysters, welks, winkles, cockles and crevettes. It was a pleasant evening and we were able to park outside the place as well.
It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it was fine for us. We would go again if this way.

The location is breathtakingly beautiful: eating outside by an old windmill with a beautiful story and old stone farm. The Terrace is kept warm. The inside restaurant is cute and clean. The staff is warm and welcoming. The crepes are delicious. Perfect experience. Highly recommend.

Visited last week and we enjoyed a fabulous meal. This is high quality original food beautifully presented. The owner Cathy, greeted us as old friends and even remembered my last wine choice. Cannot recommend highly enough !

Creperie with homemade food
The place was starting to fill up but we still ended up right by the fire on a cold wet May 1st. The food was fantastic and the cider just what I was looking for. The service was "correct" as they say here. The lady who seemed to run the place was not warm and welcoming but was just friendly enough. No real complaints just good food at a good price.
