We take our grandchildren ages 4 and 6 here all the time. Great experiences for them and all for free. There are wonderful flowers and shrubs and wildflower places and stunning sea views. There is always something to look at. We highly recommend this place for parents and grandparents who do not want to spend a fortune but want their little ones to be safe and active. It’s not often you get a facility like this for free

Thought we would visit a museum on our doorstep. Fantastic for a rainy day. Cameras are not allowed. Ask a member of staff to take a family photo for you, they are very helpful :)

A Memorial to the men of the Battle of Britain alongside a modern interpretation centre that brings to life the victory 'the Few' achieved over the Luftwaffe in 1940. A place of quiet pilgrimage coupled with a high-tech and interactive visitor centre - plus fantastic views over The Channel from our first-floor cafe. Shop and coach parking.
A new visitor centre built next to the previous one on a beautiful hilltop site.. the is s good car park and a basic cafe with stunning views across the sea. Limited menu but still worth a visit to the exhibition and shop as well as cafe.

We live within walking distance of the beach but never tire of being there. Lovely cafe's and pubs are plentiful Interesting shops add to the attraction. At night if it is clear the twinkling lights of France add to the enchantment

As promenades go this is peaceful and quiet with good views out to see. Plenty of seats, very little traffic on the road (which is set back from the walkway). Some refreshment places along the way too. Gentle uphill gradient away from town.

Lovely walk away from the road not far from the Golden Valley shopping centre. Decent path , a great walk listening to the Enbrook stream passing by under the shadow of the Saga building leading to Sandgate

I used to love this pub, and restaurant. But sadly the staff recently have taken a massive turn for the worse. They are extremely miserable, unwelcoming, unhelpful. I don't really have anything positive to say other than - great location in the summer and please get some better staff!

Great panoramic views of Folkestone Harbour, the old railway bridge now pedestrianised so all can benefit from it. The Station is being refurbished with added seasonal shops etc.The Old High Street offers a variety of Art, Cultural shops and restaurants.
