Went with friend son Saturday night and once again had an excellent experience. Mixed platter of starters followed by Duck Curry, Special Rice, Prawn Phad Thai ... all were excellent. Service was superb especially given the restaurant was very very busy. Love it here !!

The service was good they weren’t on top of you asking if you wanted another drink when you still had half a glass meal was superb, we have had a couple of deliveries from them as well and they tasted the same. Will be back.Thank you for your review. It means so much , for us,as a team, when customers are pleased with our food and service. Our aim is to make happy as many customers as possible. This place really nails it. Borderline Michelin Star food at about half the price you would pay at those establishments. Great service ( friendly, attentive but unobtrusive ) and lovely complimentary touches all through the meal ( really interesting breads, a lovely refreshingly different sorbet and yummy petit fours ). The set menu is a steal @ £29 for 3 courses, especially bearing in mind the quality and complimentary add ons. They also seem to set great stall by sourcing locally and it shows ! We've eaten at many Good Food Guide restaurants over the years and this is up there with the best, and better than most - definitely worth more than the current 3 rating in our view.

We are a family run Italian restaurant with a great combination of a warm friendly atmosphere and good Italian food and wine.
Loughborough has a small number of exceptional, local restaurants. After our first visit to Caravelli this weekend, we now have one more venue to add to the list.
Friendly staff and great food and an excellent choice homemade desserts - will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

We had a nice meal with a group of friends - both the food and service was good. The pub is very popular and at 7.30pm on Friday night the bar was very busy and very noisy so we didn't get the most tranquil dining experience! The staff did their best to locate us on the quietest table available. It soon quietened down however and this just shows how popular The Manor is. The car park was also full when we arrived and it took a while to get a parking space.

Traditional Country Pub set in the beautiful & historic village of Quorn serving a fresh produce menu throughout the day. Serving breakfast every Saturday and Sunday morning followed by a full menu and also a choice of 4 Sunday Roasts every Sunday. We also have a stone-baked pizza oven serving freshly made pizzas, 7 days a week.
Very enjoyable meal for two. Ocean platter starter was very tasty. Mushroom stuffed chicken was good-enjoyed the dauphinois potatoes. Black and blue burger looked very unusual with the black bread-very delicious. Managed lemon posset for pud-would have preferred it a bit more lemony personally but the shortbread biscuits with it were gorgeous. Have been many times before and White horse never disappoints!

We visited over the Christmas period, and were given a small limited menu and were shocked to see that the prices had been put up a lot, service was not great either, as the waiters seemed to favour certain people, bread on the table for some, not for us, the side vegetables were very limited, no offer of replacement drinks, pate was just on a plate with salad and some French bread, no thought had gone into presentation at all, the apple tart was shop bought with very cheap ice cream.
Overall a very expensive for what we reviewed and disappointing visit, no desire to return.

Visited Mount Gurkha a couple of days ago with my friends. Mount Gurkha is the perfect way to satisfy Indian food craving that you could be having. The service and ambience is good. Kshitij Garg waited our table and was very patient and served us well. The food was a tad bit on the sweeter side but nevertheless delicious. You could always add a hit of chilli if you ask them. They even accommodated my Jain request and prepared a couple of starters and mains. As an Indian student at Loughborough, id recommend Mount Gurkha to all who crave for some good Indian food! Will definitely come back again :)

(Only for the bravest of the brave... Or a dragon!)
The food was totally average, there is not one thing i had that i could say was outstanding, unique or would bring me back. The burgers were overcooked, dry and looked similar to the cheap ones you used to get a fun fairs. the chicken was juicy enough but the skins were soggy and sauces were uninspiring. The fries were like KFC fries, so if you like that type of chip then it will be good for you.
However, the staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
