Modern, uptodate building on the foot of the Acropolis housing important ancient Greek statues and much more
After visiting this excellent museum, I agree that the Parthenon Marbles should be returned from the British Museum. The top floor, built to house the marbles, and with a few of the originals and reproductions of the rest, is worth the price of admission alone. The views of the Acropolis from the 4th floor and the outdoor restaurant are amazing. There were visitors and school groups from all over the world at the museum. Staff were excellent. Restaurant food was good. Note: tickets are 1/2 price Nov - March, but hours are shorter.

Our diving field includes the reefs and wrecks of Macronisos island, Cape Sounio and the surrounding islets. For the experienced and technical divers we organize daily excursions to more remote diving sites all of them chosen from the immense personal archive of Kostas Thoctarides. In association with the training agencies of SSI, PADI, we offer all kinds of services in the fields of recreational and technical scuba diving. Planet Blue is also certified by Bureau Veritas according to European standard EN 14467.
Me and my girlfriend went with these guys on two dives and definitely got what we payed for and more!
Everything from start to finish was just awesome.
Everyone involved were so nice and helpful, and they are pure professionals.
We talked to lovely Caterina who got everything ready for us and explained really well how everything would work.
We then got the wonderful Vassilis who picked us up from our hotel and went with us on the dives. The equipment is really great both new and comfortable.
Vassilis made us feel really safe on both dives by having everything crystal clear.
They then went above and beyond by taking us to the Poseidon temple located about 15 min from the diving center and told us all about its origin and history.
And not to leave out the wonderful Kostas or the Boss who is just one of the kindest people ever.
All in all if you want to dive in Greece go with planet blue!

Amphibious Diving Center is a Classic. Theofilos, the instructor, goes above and beyond and teaches me things about scuba I didn't even know although I am definitely NOT a rookie when it comes to all things sea. He is professional, thorough, has a killer personality and I trust him, hands down. He emphasizes safety while diving. He is absolutely patient with us and does not push us beyond our capabilities and comfort levels. Each training day, he assesses our competency with a fresh eye and is always ready to give us feedback when we ask how we can improve.
Highly recommended.

Amelia at Antelope Travel was excellent. Very professional. I took the suggestions and upgrades and was not disappointed. All shuttle pick ups were on time, the tours booked were great and the hotels on Mykonos and Santorini were beautiful.
Everything was arranged in advance and it made it a memorable holiday.

A multifunctional and environmentally sustainable education, arts, and recreation destination. It comprises of the Stavros Niarchos Park, and the new facilities of the National Library of Greece (NLG) and the Greek National Opera (GNO). Designed with the purpose of being open and accessible to all, it enriches the lives of the country's residents and aims to attract visitors from around the world.
The edifice- Niarchos Foundation- overlooking the Phaleric Gulf-has character, prowess, metamodern distillate, lacking historicity and intimacy. It is an eloquent contrivance creating its own flimsy context with perambulatory activities, linear elevations, ambitious vistas, water enclosures but nothing humane, interpersonal, interpersonal, soothing and intimate. It was edesigned as a formal exterior dictating a crisp frigid interior. The cherry tree paneling although impressive lacks the operatic serene tone of anticipatory acceptance. Wood is not ised in the prehensile fashion but as a cover vitrine. Peopele move around as in a train station but there are no trains. There is no distiction between the librarian and the musician.
The 'Romeo and Juliet' performanc of March 2 2028 was unique for the hellenix standards (first performance domestically), scenographically inadequate, phonetically unequal but honest and honourable.
Beware of the parking ordeal ex post!!

My sister and I drove down to the Temple from Athens on a Sunday Morning. It was a beautiful drive and with amazing views at the end. The Temple was easy to locate and pretty quiet while we were there. It was incredibly windy so be prepared but so worth the trip!
