My wife, kids and I visited Aires Africanos during our holidays in Spain and it was absolutely splendid. Since the very beginning up to the end: Miguel and Nuria were very lovely with the little ones and we felt like between old friends.
The camel riding was something we had never experienced before and we will definitely recommend this activity back at home and will come again soon.

Welcome to our family-owned bodega, devoted to recovering the history of one of the world´s best known wine regions, famous from time immemorial for its fine wines. Over a decade ago we decided to "row upstream" and place our confidence in creating a unique red wine in a region dominated by white grapes. After an excellent premiere by our signature brands Garum, Samaruco and PetitVerdot, we´ve gone on to set ourselves new challenges. We have already developed a wine aged underwater in amphoras and have also made wines with ancient, regional varieties that had neared extinction, such as Tintilla and Palomino negro. Together with this, our first Jerez wine with natural alcohol content is already ageing in American Oak casks.
Visiting Jerez for Catas Magistrales in the Alcazar learned about this winery and the new concept on red wines, the experience was unique; marvelous views, the vines museum so interesting, professionalism at the top with the guide and tasting of unique red wines in the region, delightful paring, thanks Virginia for your warm welcome and guidance.

What a great hour, we went on a Segway tour of the nature reserve.
We were shown the controls and allowed a practice in the carpark.
The staff were friendly and collected us from our hotel and dropped us back afterwards.
The only negative was the audio commentary unit was intermittent but that might be as was were quite far back from the guide.
Great fun and worth spending an hour of your holiday

Endless white sand... great to swim and stroll along... areas of guarded swimming other areas for surfers and other water sports... more people on the northern section go south to be more isolated... clothing appears optional the further south you go.... intricate lava rock formation towards the south ... a number of bar restaurants along the beach

Archaeological site named Gadir. During the visit you will do a tour where you will be able to see the evolution of the city from its founding by the Phoenicians to Roman times. Right 21st century, an interactive multimedia tour will allow you to see the remains of the ancient Phoenician city built in the 9th century BC, with its dwellings, its streets, its animals, etc.
This is an in-situ archaeological site dating from the Phoenician period. The site contains the remains of some houses with identifiable rooms, storage facilities, a fish processing ,and a crime scene. All the information in presented via (a little over-engineered) high tech videos and touch screen displays.
The only way to visit is via guided tours at set times, so do check before visiting. The principal language is Spanish, but the video will presented in a 2nd language based on the first person to ask. The guides we had on the day spoke excellent English and knew a lot about the archaeology.
A must visit in Cadiz. Best of all, it's free

Crowded in summer as the whole coast in Spain, but not so much. You can find spots away of constructed areas that are pretty empty. In addition there two close Beaches (Alemanes and Cañuelo) that are superb and almost virgin Beaches. Just take care of the wind. Not recommended with strong levante (east winds)

Il panteon dove sono raccolti I resti dei personaggi che hanno fatto la storia della marina spagnola è visitabile con visita guidata. Visita interessante con una guida preparata che racconta un sacco di aneddoti.

I spent 3 weeks in southern Spain and visited a beach a day. Even though El Palmar cannot be called virgin and has many facilities for tourism, I loved it. It has nice sandy Beaches and the waters were clear when I was there in August. It is a large beach, providing for space. Chiringuitos play relaxing music and I enjoyed a decent lunch at La Selva. My girlfriend decided to do a wave Surfing class and we watched the sunset afterwards. Great place!

Excellent guided tour, well worth the trip and very good value. I'd recommend a visit. Lots of very good information on sherry and it's production.
