We provide extraordinary flights in a Hot Air Balloon over Israel. Join us at Sunrise and enjoy a trip over the beautiful area between Mnt. Gilboa and Mnt. Tavor together with your family or friends, followed by an exclusive breakfast picnic. If you are part of a group that requires an aerial observation over one of Israel's many Holy attractions we will lift you 100 meters above it.
Yesterday we (parents + two youngsters) went for a baloon ride with Skytrek. It's a great experience. The crew are very professional and very nice. They really like their customers! Everything is carefully planned so there's not a dull moment. After the ride, while the crew were folding the baloon we were served breakfast, and they gave us photos of us in the baloon.
Take the early morning ride. Then you'll have the rest of the day to travel through this beautiful region.

Most amazing place. Excellent educational opportunity and very informative. First class lunch prepared onsite by the kindest and most sincere French nuns. Would certainly be among the first places to visit upon a return journey to the Holy Land. Visit and feel blessed.

A challenging drive up hill ending in a most inspiring and tranquil place, full of ancient History, and Religious awe...The views of the Galilee from the top are marvelous, and the location already invoked in Bible stories some 3100 years old is indeed overwhelming in its majesty...

A refreshing recreational park at the foot of Mt. Gilboa, where the Harod spring rises in a cave and flows into a stream. On the slope above, overlooking the valley, is the family grave of Yehoshua and Olga Hankin next to their small home, which tells their life story.
This is a combination historical site/swimming pool/recreation area. This is the place where Gideon chose the 300 men as told in the Bible.
The Ma'ayan Harod is a nature reserve. There is a large pool (the second largest pool in Israel) but it was closed when we were there because it was off season, large lawns, a picnic area, and eucalyptus trees. The site also exhibits archaeological ruins including the remains of an ancient aqueduct and a memorial to soldiers who died fighting on Mt. Gilboa during the War of Independence. Above the cave is the home of Yehoshua Hankin, the "Redeemer of the Valley" who purchased a great deal of land in Northern Israel -this was also closed and I do not know if it is still operational. We went to see Gideon's Spring, and we were glad to have found it.

As in most Israeli national parks there is a small entrance fee. The site dates from Roman era with a variety of sites within the park. There are some very well preserved mosaics including some in the Synagogue. There are rest rooms & gift shop. The brochure with your entrance fee is very good and helps in explaining the different ruins with in the park. Recommend. Hope this helps.

Gan-Garoo Australian Park - a unique attraction containing wildlife and vegetation from far-off Australia. Gan-Garoo is home to free-roaming kangaroos of various types that you can pet and hand-feed; a parrot sanctuary where you can feed the birds from juicy fruit skewers. In the zoo's Australian farm you'll encounter farm animals characteristic of the Australian continent. There are petting corners where mini-goats are fed and groomed plus an assortment of other interesting animals - adorable koalas, cassowary, emu, flying foxes, reptiles and more...
Kids love feeding and petting the Kangaroos, parrots, sheep, and goats at this zoo. Beware that in the summer it can get extremely hot. The new dinosaur exhibit is very nice, and provides a very good introduction to those extinct animals. The zoo is located right next to Gan HaShlosha natural pools.

A Holy Church to renew your wedding vows. The Franciscan Wedding Church located in Cana, Galilee, Israel is the site of the first miracle worked by Jesus at a wedding held there where he blessed the water and it turned into wine. The Chapel for renewing wedding vows is peaceful and spiritual and a very good place to get in touch with your inner selves and each other and renew your commitment to married life. Prior booking is essential and group bookings receive preference. After receiving a blessing, certificates can be purchased from the Piety Stall for 5 - 10 American Dollars as a memento.

Do not go out of your way to visit this park as there is not a lot to see however there is a VERY well preserved mosaic floor with a 12-panel zodiac circle- we have seen a few of these in our travels however this one is WELL preserved unlike the others.
The mosaic floor is accented with a 10 minute video explaining in detail what the mosaic flooring depicts.

Built on the grotto where Mary is believed to have lived and the Site of the Annunciation, this basilica houses a collection of excavated remnants of churches from the Crusader and Byzantine eras.
The Annunciation has religious and spiritual significance for me, therefore I looked forward to my visit to the church commemorating this event. I loved the paintings of the Blessed Virgin representing most of the countries in the world. The contribution from the USA was especially interesting since it combined painting and sculpture.
