We went here for dinner one evening. Very nice meal, and a charming place. It’s recommended in the Michelin guide for 2011 and I will definitely like to recommend it too. The place was packed, and if we hadn’t made Reservations in advance I doubt they would be able to seat us.
No menu in English – unfortunately.
Very delicious and tasty food

On a stormy day in August we did visit Hammerhute about lunchtime. Though there were more people, we found a table. Service was friendly, food was not very culinair but still good. The place is a lovely place, you can look along the water and over the fields. I think location is more important than the food in this case, must be great on a sunny day.

Greek food is fairly ubiquitous throughout Germany and the quality runs the gamut. Pella ranks near the top in terms of menu selection, taste, presentation and price. Owner and chef Dimitri Ypsilandis takes obvious pride in each dish that comes out of his kitchen at their new and welcoming location (Nov. 2012) in the "Alte Mölkerei".
The menu has been updated, including the wine list. We enjoyed a Domaine Costa Lazaridi Syrah from Greece that was delicious, in contrast to all of our previous experiences with too-sweet or generally lackluster Greek wines. We ordered the saganaki (fried feta cheese) and the grilled pepperoni peppers, neither of which were greasy and both of which were delicious. The tsatsiki was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of garlic. My main course of grilled chicken skewers was positively addictive and the tomato rice was perfectly seasoned, something most Greek restaurants miss. My husband always orders the "chef's choice" platter (not on the menu), which is created with the freshest available ingredients in the chef's kitchen. That night, it was a delectable mix of fresh seafood, including calamaris that were sauteed in garlic - divine! The chef surprised us with an incredible dessert of thick Greek yogurt with honey and nuts, the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
Dmitri and his lovely wife Toula have created a warm and welcoming Greek oasis in the Worpsweder moor. Pella is a can't-miss for anyone in the area!

This restaurant is located in the old Railway Station building in Worpswede, designed by one of the original Worpswede artists, Heinrich Vogeler. It's a wonderful building, and inside they have more or less kept the original room plan, with first, second and third class areas.
Even the environment was very interesting, the food was quite average, and the service was a bit too slow for my taste. So go there and enjoy the athmosphere, but don't have too high dining expectations !

Lovely and pleasant place. A nice service. A cozy atmosphere. Very very tasty and traditional food. We had three kinds of meat, beans, mushrooms, soup, potato croquettes and dessert. With delicious white wine. Really enjoyed.

Haben nicht viel erwartet und würden sehr positiv überrascht. Sauberer Laden, super freundliches Personal. Meine Pizza war Weltklasse und das Rollo meiner Tochter ebenfalls. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

The service is either untrained or simply unfriendly. We both ordered Spaghetti Eis in normal size. The waiteress brought us two plates with different portions. It looked like one of them was a smaller version for children. When we asked the waiteress if it was a mistake, she answered rudely that perhaps two different people in the kitchen prepared our desserts and therefore one is bigger. Not wanting to quarrel on a Sunday evening we just quickly ate our Spaghetti, which wasn't of top quality, and have never came back since then. Not really a good choice.
