The gate is the entrance to a white universe where you live to the rhythm of human being. It's the closest thing to being in heaven, paradise and hell at the same time. Heaven, holy patience and devotion with which the Pilar chef prepares dishes. Paradise by the gastronomic delights that make entering a forbidden ecstasy. Hell, well, hell when to leave, again through La Puerta
This place cleary takes an advantage due to the lack of competition. I went there with my girlfriend and two other couple for a nice evening meal, orderer everything with no issues. The food started to come 45m later ante restaurant was almos empty! One of the dishes had onions (it didnt say in menu) and qhen we wanted it to change it the administrator said that they will charge two plates, this never happened to me before. On top of that the waiter totally forgot one of our orders so he had to wait apnether 45 min. This was an absolutely horrible experience, i dont recommend this place to anyone. I just hope that some day they will change the "unpolite" administrator.

Such a treat. The best restaurant in town.
Daniel and his team cook with skill and passion. There is great attention to detail, both in food and decor.
The value here is remarkable. I loved everything I ate.
Be sure to note the beautiful view from the front step of the restaurant. Red roofs, whitewash, and the glorious dome of the Cathedral.
Don't miss dining here while in Barichara.

I Have Post It As Fast Food, Which As A Matter Of Fact It Is Not, But Their Specialty Is Pizza And Pita - All Home Cooked And Simply Served, But Extremely Delicious.
Stopped by with some local friends who assured me it was some of the best pizza they'd had, it was! Excellent service, the guy who owned it was actively involved, no doubt worth a visit.

We went for dinner to this retro burger restaurant. They did not have gluten free bread but I still had a burger. I do not regret that decision. It was the best burger I ever had. Yummy. It came with a fried egg and guacamole...MoreGraciass esperamos tenerte de vuelta mil veces mas !!

This place looks nice, the concept is similar to Shanti, but the quality of the food is certainly very different. We were disappointed with our Mango/ shrimp ceviches.

We dined here for a rehearsal dinner the night before a wedding. I was most impressed by how beautiful the courtyard was! We didn't order from a menu as it was set due to the private event, but the food was delicious. Large portions.
I can't speak to the price, but if you're looking for a good meal with great ambiance in Barichara, definitely give this place a try.

Good bread and large selection and great coffee. Pandebonos were pretty good but not the best I've had, same with some of the sweet pastries we tried. Nice little place to sit and watch what is going on in the main square.
