Once discovered you will be guaranteed a warm welcome and fantastic fish & chips at our nationally recognised Fish 'n' Fritz takeaway and 48 seater restaurant just set back from the picturesque 17th Century Weymouth Harbour. Famous for using the finest and freshest ingredients together with our secret batter formula, ensures that we consistently produce mouth watering meals for you throughout the year.
We visit Fish ‘n’ Fritz every time we come to Weymouth and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, the fish is fresh and the batter and chips are crispy. Cannot recommend it highly enough.Until your next visit to Weymouth :o) Thank you for your lovely review. Paul

Free onsite parking and quirky restaurant with big fish basins for the freshest fish ever. Extensive wine list and a starter from heaven. Mussels in a peppery cream sauce and makerel mouse for my wife. The main skate wings with baby potatoes and veg was amazing. Lemonsole for me most tender and fresh. The perfect Antidote to any chain restaurant for any fish lover. In summer it must be great to sit outside. We loved it.

Not good.
We visited here on the Friday at the beginning of one of the biggest triathlon weekends in the U.K.
They had no jacket potatoes left ( carb loading ) at 1pm ! No excuse really especially as they're right next to local supermarkets.
I expect they lost a lot of potential business that day.

Pascal's Brasserie is charming. With upstairs dining as well, you can escape into an oasis of peace. We particularly liked the fact that Pascal's pictures are displayed on the elegant paneled walls.
Also known as 'Time for Tea' - the restaurant serves wines and beers as well as non-alcoholic beverages. I particularly enjoyed the local beer.
A warm and enthusiastic welcome is assured.

Weymouth Award Winning Fish & Chip Restaurant & Take Away situated conveniently on the Town Bridge in Weymouth, a stones throw away from the picturesque harbour and a short distance from the award winning beach. Serves traditional Fish & Chips Fayre as well as a varied complimentary menu.
We had fish and chips in the restaurant. The service was excellent. Friendly and competent. The fish and chips were excellent. Even the tea was perfect. I have been coming here for 30 years. I’ve tried the others but Marlboro is consistently the best.

A team of experienced chefs like to create dishes and combinations to give diners a memorable gastronomic experience As a family run business Chilli’s Indian Restaurant always strives to look for ways to add choice which is reflected in their current new menu. Using only the finest, freshest ingredients, always mixing and preparing their own herbs and spices to bring their customers a unique experience of flavours from Bangladeshi and Indian continent straight to your table. A lot of work has gone into creating the perfect dishes by tweaking the old recipes and including some new dishes on the menu. The Chilli’s team’s skill and dedication has made the restaurant a popular venue for both local’s and visitors.
We have been to Chilli's a few times and really enjoyed it so we returned for my husband's birthday meal, with our two children. I am a little nervous about leaving a somewhat negative review after seeing the personal insults returned to others who have dared to do so but here we go! We had booked but I felt that we were not made very welcome on our arrival. There were mumbled comments from several of the staff and it did not feel like the warm welcome we had experienced before. Nothing to put my finger on though. After much discussion we chose some shared starters but forgot to actually order them when the waiter arrived! Our fault and not a big issue but it occurred to me that the waiter would usually have asked whether we wanted any starters and this would have revealed our error. The food was very good, which was just as well, because no-one came to check. The big issue came when the bill arrived and I noticed that we had been charged £4.50 for two glasses of squash (which I had ordered after my son had finished his J2O so no, I didn't have a menu at that point and didn't expect such an exorbitant price). Again, not the end of the world but I did ask the waiter if he would pass onto management my comments that this price was excessive for squash. That's where it got a little out of hand. A simple apology would have sufficed or even agreement to pass on the message as I had requested. However, the waiter made a big deal about going away and changing the bill (twice) only to come back with a 50 pence reduction! I was so annoyed by this unsolicited insult that I picked up the tip that I had already put on the table and put it back in my pocket. Yes the food was good but there are plenty of other good Indian restaurants in Weymouth so I certainly won't be returning to Chilli's again. I would suggest that the owner or manager actually uses this (and other negative reviews) to consider ways in which they could improve the restaurant rather than seeing it as an opportunity to insult their ex-customers further. We are not liars (as you accused one reviewer) and are simply giving honest opinions about an experience which did not live up to our expectations.

Eat here last night after finding it on trip advisor. Friendly welcome. Good menu, amazing food I had the scallops in pesto which was lovely and then the halibut special which was delicious, the prawns were so sweet. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Weymouth

Stanleys will no longer be able to reply to your reviews but would like to thank you all for your past and continued support.
Having visited previously on few occasions we were extremely disappointed with breakfast this morning.
Bacon looked and tasted like it's been microwaved and had zero taste, baked beans were watery and not up to heinz beans as advertised.
This establishment has clearly gone downhill, I mean how can you get such few ingredients wrong ? The owner had more delight telling customers about her fall off horse rather than focusing on delivering quality breakfast as advertised !

We, at our National British Pie Award winning Handmade Pie & Ale House are setting out to create the most premium of pies and to serve the most traditional, tastiest constantly changing ales, of which we always have some local and some from various parts of the country. We now have up to six to choose from and you are always welcome to have a FREE try before you buy!! We are proud to have our beautifully renovated old restaurant / bar where you can sit, enjoy and take in the charming surroundings whilst being looked after by our lovely caring staff and you can eat drink and be merry. Our pies are lovingly made by us, by hand, in our open-plan pie kitchen (where you can also see them being made!) With our homemade pastry and homemade fillings, no two pies are ever the same. We are constantly making our pies fresh from a selection of over 38 different flavours - we even make our own low calorie 'smart pies' and of course several vegetarian options. Also, if for some reason you don't fancy one of our multi award winning pies, we even have a NON PIE menu, which, believe it or not is called the 'We Don't Just Do Pies' menu! This has an ever changing variety of good old home cooking favourites and specialty boards, such as a meat & cheese sharer, our own crispy chicken wings, our own homemade gooey Brie Wedges in Panko breadcrumbs and 1/2 a rotisserie chicken on a board! Plus good old proper relaxing Sunday lunches, with roast leg of lamb, aged Scottish beef, stuffed rolled crispy belly pork etc. Not hungry? Alternatively, if you prefer just come and enjoy a drink in our beautiful bar and just have a good old piece of free hospitality on the side.......
Can’t fault this restaurant. If you like pies then it’s a must. Great food, service and atmosphere. It was our first trip to Weymouth and we’d come back just to go here.

We are an independently owned award-winning restaurant based opposite the train station, just down from the Jubilee Clock along the seafront. We have disabled access into the restaurant and are child and dog friendly. Our ethos is to use as many locally sourced ingredients as possible to create delicious home made, chargrilled burgers in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent customer service. We are proud members of both Dorset Food and Drink and Taste of The West and are thrilled to have achieved both a Gold Award for four years running from Taste of The West, also being named as South West Cafe of the year in 2013. We were also voted fourth best burger restaurant in the UK by Trip Advisor reviewers in 2016 and voted Best Restaurant of 2016 at the Dorset Tourism Awards and Wessex FM’s Weymouth Business of the Year in 2016. We are happy to welcome customers for coffees, teas, desserts and snacks. We are licensed and have a full bar serving a wide range of wines, draught local ales, ciders and other alcoholic drinks as well as soft drinks. We always have a number of meal deal special offers available alongside a full children's menu. Please do book in advance if possible for evenings and large parties as we can get busy. We hope to see you soon!
Great burgers, we were both very pleased with our choices, really tasty and good portions. The rhubarb and ginger gin and tonic was a revelation. The only slight letdown was the milkshake, which was a glass of flavoured milk with a scoop of ice cream...MoreHi louisep95, Many thanks for taking the time to post a review for us - we're so pleased that you enjoyed your visit to us and we hope to see you again soon.
