Enjoy your stay in a vital, cosy and inspiring atmosphere. Taste the region trough te creative dishes of Peter Gast.
This place completely surprised us. The food is amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and execute their service well. The atmosphere is modern and appealing. The menu choices feature fresh, local ingredients prepared in visually stimulating and tasty ways.
On this Saturday, we choose for the Summer Menu of 2 amuse and 3 courses with the additional pairing of wine.
We did start with a couple of glasses of Cave and I finished with the cheese instead of the desert.
While being on the upward side of most people's budgets, the food and service sparkled. So it was well worth it. This is an enjoyable dining experience.

They serve a variety of cold and warm appetizers, different fish dishes (cod, salmon, tuna, seafood) and very good meat dishes (very juicy steaks, spare ribs, sate, ribeye) in a very nice, initimate setting. Very friendly people. Open kitchen to show you what is going on. Recommended as one of the best in Zutphen.

Grieks restaurant
A very nice greek restaurant in Zutphen. I ate here several times and every time is fantastic! You always get an ouzo on the house and the service is friendly and fast. The food is amazing, especially the mussels as an appetizer and the main courses you can order from 2 persons or more. Our daughter cannot eat a whole child's menu and it is no problem to get an extra plate, so she can eat with us without extra charge. I love it!

The owners of the B&B (Haas in de Bedstee) we were staying at recommended this restaurant to us. The restaurant looks like a former farm house, and has a large quiet garden, where we had an aperitive and some snacks. The lady who owns the restaurant greeted us warmly and gave us advice about our choice of food and wines. Strangely enough for the warm August month, most dishes on the menu were "wintery" dishes, like stews, meats with heavy sauces, classic French. We dined inside in their patio, which is spacious and since one of us moves around in a wheelchair, that worked really well. The interior has green and yellow colours, plastic lilies in silver vases. They have a large selection of wines, and we picked a nice Meursault. Overall a nice dining experience.

The restaurant was packed on Saturday evening in August. The food is very good, and reasonably priced, we had 4 courses and wine for EUR 50,= per person. I have to applaud the waiters/waitresses; not all in our group were too polite ( I am somewhat ashamed to admit) and they dealt with it graciously. The fact that they do not write down the order and still remember exactly what you had, feels like genuine interest in the guest. Very welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone who likes high quality food, and who can appreciate real hospitality.

So pancakes, Dutch pancakes are a rather cheap product. Flour, eggs, milk and then toppings (normally sweet but can also be served with vegetable). It does not explain the price for some of the pancakes (around 16 euros). Given the place is nice, really nice and the staff is friendly. I would recommend lowering the price and make profit on volume not on units. Simple math and happier more frequent returning customers!

We ate here with family. I ordered the salmon but without arugula (rucola). It came with arugula (they don't listen) and also a lukewarm potato cake that tasted like it was made 2 days ago and half warmed up. Unimpressive.

Had dinner here with my wife and daughter. The place specializes in meat dishes and offer classic plates. I had the Tournedos and it was fantastic. Plenty of tasty side dishes too! My wife had the 'old-fashioned' Asparagus plate with ham, egg and potatoes. My daughter had a side of spare ribs with fries and salad. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Red house wine was very good. Service was quick and friendly. Great place!
