We saw reviews that this place was vegetarian friendly and so sought it out when we were visiting Monet's House.
We were so pleasantly surprised. While the food was good, the best part was the lack of crowds as this hotel/resto was in the opposite direction of most of the food available when you finish your Monet tour. The grounds are gorgeous, quiet, and the service was quick and friendly.
We each enjoyed a galette, with the honey/goat cheese one being our favorite.

While visiting Giverny France, we drove to Vernon looking for a restaurant. Happened on Le Penjab late at night. Excellent food and service. Atmosphere very nice. Food served hot. One of the best restaurants we have eaten at in many countries. $ good.

Very nice food, a large menu, and friendly service We ate ther many times and allwais really good The owner is there and if you want something simple tha you would like to eat, that is not on the menu, you will have it!!!

Food was good but serves were very small and as a consequence it was expensive for what you got. It was disappointing because good serves of the ordered dishes would have made the meal really nice.

This place is on the top road in the village and fortunately for us one of the few places open on a Monday night in late September. We were warmly welcomed without a reservation which rather surprised us and we had an excellent meal though somewhat expensive but then this is France and this is Giverny! We went somewhere else the next night but were happy with what we had at the Baudy and it was good to stop over in this famous meeting house of the impressionist painters.

I guess we should have expected it to be expensive as it's a captured market right outside Monet's house and garden. Refreshments did the job but pricey! Female staff ignored us but the male staff member acknowledged us but didn't offer us a menu. Disabled toilets are down some stairs also.

Whilst staying at a very disappointing B & B in the Pacy area I picked this little restaurant from tripadvisor and I was not disappointed. We had the most wonderful meal at a fantastic price - 3 courses (with plenty of choice) for 21 euros including a glass of wine! Excellent service and a great atmosphere.

The restaurant, definitely the outstanding one in Giverny and surroundings, provides high quality meals, high quality wines in a very nice environment. The large garden shows a number of very nice sculptures under very impressive and beautiful trees.
After Monet or Manguin or Sorolla, there can be only this.

Read reviews about this restaurant and was not disappointed. The place looked empty but that is because everyone was seated in the Terrace at the back of the restaurant. We had a lovely basic meal (pizza and salad) where everything was fresh. The salad was their basic salad and was superb. The pizza we chose had chicken, potatoes and peppers. We switched out the peppers for mushrooms without a problem. We commented to each other how the toppings actually looked like the food they were supposed to be! The chicken was roasted and placed in torn strips for example and not your usual diced chicken. The pitchet of cider went very well with the meal of course. We would return to this restaurant
