I wouldn't come to Piracicaba just to see this park, but it's definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. There are walkways on either side of the river surrounded by pretty jungle, and a big red bridge that crosses the river. The river itself is large and strong, and we took some nice photos from the bridge. Set up on the banks were little food stalls where we had fresh sugarcane juice (yum).

The Bridges that cut the river allows some nice pictures of the falls. Walking along the river sidewalks is amazing. Centenary trees and colorful birds can be seen all over.

Piracicaba was one of the first cities in Brazil to have piped water, this museum portrays how it all started with antique pipe parts and valuable information. In the museum is maintained a very old brickwork aqueduct.
There are exposed Aquariums with various fish species of Rio de Piracicaba.
For its great location worth being visited him, considering that it is close to "Engenho Central" and "Rua do Porto".

There is no doubt that ESALQ is the most beautiful place of Piracicaba, in special the Luiz de Queiróz museum. There you can find old machines from the coffee empire and the nacional agriculture in general. Highly recomended.

This is a historical museum, a house of a 4o brazilian republican president. It is a good museum, interesting to know a history of President Prudente de Morais. The museology is simple, but has interesting documents.Thank you for visiting the Museum. We invite you, your family and friends to come back and enjoy our temporary Exhibitions and cultural events. If you are visiting Rua do porto, Aquario Municipal de Piracicaba is at a walkable distance. Just keep going towards the culture centre from gastronomic centre.
It's a well kept old aquarium. It's not big, but it won't disappoint you as well.
You will find city map from 19th century there, very well preserved. You don't see such things often these days. They have a very small collection of regional fishes. Overall, a nice experience. There is no fee! Have fun!

Went there for a concert, which was really nice, because classical music Performances seldomly occur in Piracicaba. The church is nothing special though.

SESCs are usually great places to pay a visit. They're always teeming with art, Performances, shows and also offer great prices for all these attractions and food. Check its website for more details on prices/shows/ etc.

If you are in the area, this is a lovely place for a walk, especially if you have young children. For ages 2-6 there is a superb, huge playground area right next door which is well equipped for family picnics. The zoo itself is small, it is a zoological garden rather than a full blown zoo, but it has an excellent selection of really rare birds and small mammals. Not worth a long trip specially to visit, but if you are close you will enjoy it. You need no more than half an hour to see everything.
