The French-inspired Botanical Garden of Curitiba is one of the Brazilian city’s most popular attractions, its colorful flowers, ponds, paths, and art nouveau greenhouse creating a sweet-smelling fairyland. After a floral stroll, continue to explore Curituba’s lovely landscapes at Parque Estadual de Vila Velha and Parque Tanguá. Visit the Museu Oscar Niemeyer, a celebration of the architect’s bold, abstract works, then enjoy a performance at the marvelous Ópera de Arame, built to look like it’s fashioned out of wire.

I was in town for 10 days for a business trip and we went here on our first night due to the reviews (#6 on Trip Advisor) and local recommendations. It did not disappoint. The waiter helped us select several items on the menu. For our dinners, we tried Conchiglia, Fettuccine, Funchi, and San Marino. One item is the main dish/pasta and the other is the sauce that is put on it (I can't remember which components went together). This means we ordered two main dishes to be split between 4 people. Most dishes are meant to be shared -- except the dessert. Having said that, we did split a Banana Caramel dish which was delicious. There was an additional charge on our bill called "couvert" for 9.90 reals each, which I think means cover charge (so total of 39.60 for our group of 4) or maybe was for the bread basket -- not sure. With drinks (no alcohol), our total for 4 of us was 318 reals which seems reasonable given the quality of the food. We tried to make a reservation using our hotel's front desk clerk for 7pm, but she said she could not get us in until 7:30pm. We walked over anyway and arrived at 7pm and the host seated us immediately at a great table near the window. The restaurant quickly filled up after that. If you can, make a reservation before you go. Loved the decor, food, and service. Would definitely return to this restaurant on a future business trip.

We live in France and Indian food is one of my favourite! In Europe there are Indian restaurants in every neighbourhood, while in Curitiba there are a few only...So this is what happens: there's no competition, so they can serve very basic - but good - food for an exorbitant price for brazilian standards. You can eat amazing local food for much less! The place is nice of course, but our waiter was way too serious...as if being serious was " chic" . Anyway...if you are a brazilian and craving for some Indian flavours, go for it, but if you are just passing by you should definitely try something else.

No much to say about the atmosphere, although it is friendly and has its charm, but the dishes are great and flavorful, I tried the File "Chimmy Churri" and the Buritos Norteños and it was delicious.

State of PARANA Brazil
Visited Porcini with a company of 8 persons. We all had different dishes, mainly pasta but also some meat dishes. We were all satisfied. Good meat, fresh salad and tasty pasta. Service is alert and quick. Can be recommended both for work dinners or romantic dinner for two. Cosy atmosphere and nice interior.

Churrascaria Batel Grill, serve rodízio de carnes e massas e buffet de frutos do mar, sushis, sashimis, saladas e guarnições.
Definitely the place to be for meat lovers. A broad choice of grilled meat is offered by the waiters. Impossible to eat all that is offered. On top of that, a extensive buffet is included.Thank you very much for your great comment here. We are very glad that you enjoyed your time at our restaurant. Custome Care

My team traveled to Curitiba for work purposes and were taken for a special dinner at this top rated restaurant. Including the locals, there was 9 of us. Poco Tapas is our host's favorite restaurant in all of Curitiba and he regularly dines here. Eating here is a unique, fun experience. If you've never had molecular gastronomy, this is the perfect place to try it. There is a set menu -- but the owner/chef regularly rotates new dishes in as he creates them. There are 10 courses and each one is brought with an explanation from the owner/chef. After all the main courses, there is a lemon palette cleanser that is served in a "cool" way. Speaking of cool, there is also a treat with a rice cake towards the end. Be sure to have someone video you side ways (not straight on) while you eat it. Before we started our courses, we also ordered molecular alcoholic drinks (5 reals for a shot). Mine was a caipirinha and I really enjoyed it. I don't recall how many desserts there were (they are all served at once), but there was at least 3. Be sure to pace yourself. Even though the servings are small, by the time we got to the 6th course, I wasn't sure if I could eat anything more and others were feeling the same way. If you don't absolutely love something, you may want to just eat half so you can try it. There was a Korean bbq towards the end (cooked at the table) that was extremely tender and flavorful -- but I could only eat one tiny piece of the meat because I was so full. Having said that, it is hard to pace yourself, because there are so many interesting, tasty combinations of food. The whole dinner is a fun evening and definitely worth doing at least once (or anytime you have visitors in town). During our two weeks in Curitiba, we ate at many of the top 20 restaurants and Poco Tapas definitely deserves to be in the top 3. Many thanks to the chef/owner and other employees for a fun evening!

Returned to Lisboa after a long period and was so pleased to see that it remains a very high quality. The food is delicious, the service excellent and the restaurant very beautifully decorated. It was the first time there for my friend and he was very impressed too!

While over rated by some who have not sampled all the restaurants available in Curitiba, this is a good restaurant to eat at. There are some items that are available at other places that are not available here, which is disappointing, but the balance is still a good value. Regardless, I would recommend eating here.
