The French-inspired Botanical Garden of Curitiba is one of the Brazilian city’s most popular attractions, its colorful flowers, ponds, paths, and art nouveau greenhouse creating a sweet-smelling fairyland. After a floral stroll, continue to explore Curituba’s lovely landscapes at Parque Estadual de Vila Velha and Parque Tanguá. Visit the Museu Oscar Niemeyer, a celebration of the architect’s bold, abstract works, then enjoy a performance at the marvelous Ópera de Arame, built to look like it’s fashioned out of wire.

The Jardim Botânico in Curitiba is well maintained and very clean. It’s not the biggest in size or diversity but the entrance is for free!

I really wanted to visit the Oscar Niemeyer Museum because he was an important figure in Brazil’s history and culture as an architect. In addition to the museum, which was opened after a remodeling in 2002 when Niemeyer was 95 years old, he designed several buildings in Brasilia (Brazil’s capital) and throughout Brazil.
The most interesting structure of the museum is “The Eye.” At the time of my visit it served host to Chinese modern art, an example of which is the silver statue with a red figure.
The rest of the museum has expositions of modern art arranged by different themes. I am not a huge modern art fan which is the reason for my rating but still appreciated the various works on display. Other people will surely give an excellent rating.
Before entering The Eye, there is a room that houses Niemeyer’s architectural models. If you like architecture or Frank Gehry, this may peak your interest.

The Safety Exhibition Center promotes a view of the topic since the prehistoric times to current days Memorial. The space is modern and interactive and targets promoting an experiential experiment. Everything was thought to provide visitors with an experience on the topic of safety through a number of interactive activities that lead them to reflect about their behavior in traffic in a game-based
The Exhibition is highly interactive and focuses on a survival skill in modern society - proper behavior in traffic. It is also folled with information.

Big but not too big, the Tanguá is one of the main parks in Curitiba. The best way to get there is via the hop-in-hop-off Turismo bus, which allows for 4 stops plus the initial ride, runs about every 30-min and tours the city in aprox. 2,45 hours. The park is within walking distance of the Opera de Arame/Pedreira Paulo Leminski, so if you enjoy walking you can visit all of them with just one stop. Beautiful, peaceful, with a cute french garden and a small waterfall, it's a good choice for nice weather. But the coffee shop isn't good, don't make plans to eat there.

I am a fan of world war 2 topics Unfortunately when we went it was closed, they told us to go the next day and again it was closed. So as far as I know is a great place to visit but call to reserve in advance.

This was our third stop on the tourism bus and is definitely worth visiting. We stopped here purposely hoping to spot a capybara -- but after walking around a bit only found one. Having said that, the park seems to allow everything -- skating, running, biking, sports, and animals (unlike all the restrictions at the botanical gardens) -- and allowed for a nice walk. We saw a bit of everything here, including large geese and 1 capybara (we think) hiding underneath the eaves of a building. Loved the vibe of the park!

Entertainment, culture, leisure and shopping in an unique place inspired by the charm of Curitiba's innovation.
Great place to spend the afternoon with friends and family. Do a little shopping, watch a movie and have a drink and a great meal. All in one place. The place to be seen in Curitiba.

I believe that a tourist wants to see something different when going to new places. This arena is a state-of-the-art soccer stadium in Brazil and seeing a game here is something to be considered. The place is safe and very friendly for women and kids.
