Traditional Greek dishes cooked with local fresh products. Beautiful garden with two very old Olive trees. A huge Rubber tree , Jasmine and flowers and of course Greek background music in the most relaxed atmosphere . Welcome to the oldest and finest taverna on the island. Since 1984 !

This was recommended to us by fellow holidaymakers at our hotel. We were not disappointed. Great atmosphere. Plenty of customers, even when a lot of the restaurants in the area were empty. Meatballs & spaghetti for myself and meat pie for my partner. We thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Staff very attentive & efficient. Good value.

Taverna Akrotiri is a small family owned meat and vegetable taverna. It opens every May till October since 1983. It is being running entirely by 4 people; Petros, Danae, Caterina and Amanda Costi. It is located in a beautiful garden 3 km from Zakinthos Town.

Everything about this restaurant is just beautiful.
It's our third visit in several years and the standards remain high.
The food is fresh, presented excellently and tastes truly authentic.
The restaurant owners/staff are charming and gracious.
Eating here is a must if you wish to experience truly tasty food presented in a true Greek meze style.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel rep. The owners arranged for a horse drawn carriage to pick us up from our hotel. Very friendly staff. Good value local food despite the location and appearance of the building. A very enjoyable evening meal.

We returned here many times throughout our stay in Agrassi. This is a great place for breakfast lunch tea & an evening snack. Or you could merely use this place as a stopover for drinks. They have a good range of snacks and drinks. They also have a great range of ice cream and chocolate desert’s here that are truly amazing. All of the staff here are warm and extremely friendly. Andreas is the star he talks to all the guests who visit his cafe sometimes he makes his way around the cafe speaking to everyone as if they were guests at his party. If there is something you request that he has not got at the cafe he would go out of his way to get it. Many times i have seen him jump on his scooter ride away and return with the requested item. Andreas is an asset to the cafe and most definitely the best host in the resort of Argassi. I would thoroughly recommend a visit here even just for drinks and to relax at any time of day or night. On our last night we spoke to Andreas and thanked him for his hospitality throughout our stay in Argassi he said you are very welcome, I do not have very much but i am more than happy to share what i do have with my guests.

Have visited summertime snack bar in tsilivi for the last four years this is more than a snack bar excellent food and drinks best pint of draught amstel in tsilivi beef stew and home made burgers are beautiful Peter and Maria not forgetting Ian are lovely people maria also does excellent take away snacks for the airport very well presented looking forward to next year well worth a visit you won't be disappointed

The name does not suggest 'typically Greek'...and it is set on a back road with no outlook..
..however the food is some of the best in Tsilivi.
The tables are mainly set outside but under cover.There is a small waiting area where you can have a pre dinner drink as the place generally is full to capacity and there may be a little wait...unless, in a very English way you wish to book your table for a specific time!
The food is plentiful, and tasty. ..and is cooked to order.
This place is most defiantly worth a visit.

visited the bar a couple of times during a week long stay. Each cocktail that we tried was amazing and better than any other bar in the resort. All of the drinks were well priced and the atmosphere was really relaxed. the staff are great - would definitely recommend going and will be back in the future!

Very nice restaurant with very good food and the staff are happy to help with advice on wines and the various dishes on offer.
We had a great meal and everyone was happy with their food choices.
Every week they have a "Greek Night" with traditional music and plate smashing. If that sounds like fun then you should drop in . You will have a great time.
