Great meals as ever, with friendly service from a bona fide Sherpa and expert on Annapurna! The main course portions are quite large. The staff are happy to try to provide something which is not strictly on the menu. Very good value.

We’re one of Truro’s most popular places to eat, meet and drink. The atmosphere’s informal and relaxed and all budgets are catered for. We have everything from prime rib steaks butchered on the premises, fresh local fish, aromatic sizzling platters, right down to oversized baguettes with fries and vegetarian options. You’ll find the very latest cocktails, cool crisp international beers and an extensive, varied range of wines from different countries and regions around the world.
Visited here for the first time , for my mother's birthday , with adults and children age 7 and 9. Lovely surroundings and great menu. Our children are particularly adventurous and enjoyed the " adult" choices. We had a great meal and we have booked again , looking forward to it

Dined there, this month, and cannot compliment the team enough; for flavours of food, ambience and service. What a find! Arrived on late afternoon and had a wander around Truro, having never visited to the city before and after some pondering made the choice to dine here.
Brilliant choice. Food was delightful as was the welcome… particular plaudits to the Goan Fish Curry must be mentioned. Hope to make a return visit to this superb restaurant soon.

The Heron Inn is a beautiful waterside pub, with stunning views over the river Fal. We are open all day, every day from 10am, serving freshly prepared homemade meals, ranging from a light lunch to hearty meals, and an excellent range of daily specials. Booking is adviseable but not always necessary.
The Heron Inn is in a delightful location, for warmer weather they have an outdoor seated area.
The menu was good - lots of fish. There were 4 of us 2 had steak 1 duck and 1 venison sausages. We were all pleased with our choice and accompaniments.
The staff were friendly and attentive.

Voted in the 20 top Curry restaurants in the UK. You will find the Kathmandu in the shadow of the Cathedral in the heart of Truro. A cosy and relaxed establishment in Truro, the Kathmandu is hosted by charismatic and friendly hosts Raj and his family. Fresh herbs and ingredients are used to ensure the best curry experience, so that you can enjoy eating healthier and exotic Nepalese flavours. As a result the mouthwatering dishes are a lot lighter and more subtle than traditional Indian fayre.
My wife and I had dinner at Katmandu Palace last night (Sunday) before going onto Truro Cinema.
Katmandu Palace continues to be our most favourite restaurant ever. Nothing can beat it for it's incredible food, loving family friendly service and atmosphere. It's just a lovely place to spend an evening on any day of the week at any time of the year.
To add to this we can say that even in LA with all it's Hollywood wealth, you will not find anything to compare or compete with this unique and wonderful bit of Cornish Nepal.

I keep reviewing Nigel Tabb’s restaurant because I keep on returning for his excellent food. There is always a good selection of dishes to choose from and a relatively small but perfectly formed wine list to support them. The service supports the excellence of the food and leads to an exceptional fine dining experience. If you haven’t been before but want somewhere for an intimate dinner of a celebration, give Tabb’s a go. Like all good restaurants, book in advance to avoid disappointment.

This is cooking of a high order. Our most recent visit was just a spontaneous dinner after the thaw. A shared pigeon/risotto starter, lamb rump and belly pork for mains, a shared creme caramel for pudding. The quality is consistently good - perfectly cooked risotto, sauces are seriously good and there are always some classical touches which show these guys know their stuff. Front of house can be a little clunky at times but on this night the two running the floor were on it. One regular observation is that the staggering of bookings always seems a little over cautious (I sense dictated by the kitchen) - I think they could be a little more flexible and do more covers. (Not a criticism, just a desire to see you busy - I understand the whole thing with small kitchen/staffing/menu complexity).

We love B Juicy and often come here for a smoothie or lunch. It's perfect for my nearly 3 year old as we can hide away in the corner and play. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. They go out of their way to do anything you want even if it's not on the menu. Their food is healthy, delicious and good value.
It's our go to if we're in Truro.

For me this is the best Chinese restaurant in Truro and there are a few good ones. What makes it even more special is the wonderful service and attention you get from Sarah. What an amazing host! The food is superb, probably the best Chinese I’ve had anywhere, including Chinatown in London. This is now our go-to Chinese in the area.

I am not sure what all the hype is about this restaurant. I came for dinner on Friday 23rd Feb. With a group of friends. We got there at 7.30 ordered at 8 after going to the bar and ordering drinks. Then no food until 9.30 an hour and a half later seriously long time. It’s tapas I appreciate it cooked fresh but even so it does not take that long. What was worse the tapas was mediocre at its best. Genuinely not impressed. The waitress apologised but even so very poor service. Tapas is meant to be quick and tasty neither occurred in this case. We got some bread and olives comped. But that’s after extra booze to pay for whilst we wait. All in all not impressed over hyped and underwhelming restaurant.
