Near the market place and when visiting the TODRA GORGE it is an excellent stop off for a light meal..the most delicious chips I have ever had and there was a visitors book with only fantastic comments by every nationality. Family run, very clean, inexpensive and very friendly. Some English and they try very hard to make sure you enjoy your meal
the staff has terrible taste in music. Dude was playing some kind of Euro-hip-hop nonsense and then some schlocky Afro-pop on a radio from the '90s that didn't seem to have an antenna anymore. Finally, I asked the guy to turn it down, which he did thank god... After that, all was well. We sipped our coffees for a good two and half hours and wrote postcards whilst waiting for the bus to Errachidia. Good people-watching place. Nice view of the park from upstairs. Basic Moroccan bathrooms, unfortunately...

Lovely bistro style restaurant for lunch. Service, decor were excellent. With advance reservation, they accommodated, our group of 20. Delicious pumpkin soup, beef and vegetables. A p.easant change, from Moroccan.

Our evening meal here was pleasant, but overpriced by Moroccan standards....and lacking in flavour, however the Berber omelette we had at breakfast was delicious. The restaurant has lovely places to sit both inside and out and the owner was extremely accommodating allowing us to have Takeout for our room.

Food is important to us and experiencing the local cuisine is a definite. Here we were never short of food and the quality was always great. We would take what the cook made without having to make a choice of menu, and this worked well.

We stayed at this really cool little hotel in January as part of a tour. It was off season and pretty much had the place to our selves, but it was amazing! LOTS of hot water in the showers, excellent wifi service ( free). But what was a real treat was the food! WOW! After travelling around for two weeks, tajines and cous cous can get a bit tiring... we had incredible little meat balls that had been simmering in spices all day am sure and the the taste, aroma? was intoxicating! Lunch was served out by the poolside ( too cold to swim) in a very peaceful and serene setting. Service was impeccable!
The rooms were spotless, windows that actually opened and a heater that worked. The heater was needed at night to sleep, but they also supplied super soft and very warm blankets. I get the impression by the size of the restaurant that this may be a a popular spot for groups or bus's going through, but don't let this deter you. If I was ever back in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

During our trip through Morocco we had a very tasty lunch in the upstairs living room of this Berber family The enthusiastic waiter was the son and the food was delicious. The whole family participated in the cooking and serving and afterwards the desert tea was served in the patio where several family member started to play music and sang Berber songs. I have never experienced such lovely people. The 'restaurant' is located in a beautiful valley.

We stoped for lunch in this nice restaurant with many terraces and beautiful, peaceful garden. First they brought us complimentary lentil dish and "sfaa", special noodles with cinemon, crumbled almonds and powdered sugar, particular dish in the weeding menu. We ordered goat tajine, it was just excellent! I can highly recommend this good restaurant. They really take care of the custumers, very good service!

Hungry whilst you are travelling around Tinerhir? Go to La Place! It´s a small "café/restau" directly at the main street, in the middle of Tinerhir (opposite to the small park and almost opposite of the post office): It´s one of the lightest, tastiest Tajine and the best super-salad with light dressing I ate - delicious!!!
Here, it´s obviously a cook who likes light, tasty food in which the top-ingredients have to speak: And they are singing!
Really, quality food makes me happy - and here I was very happy and satisfied!! Nutrition is the essence of life... and I prefer to have it excellent :-) !!!
It´s the same high quality like the food in the "maison d´hôte Anissa"!
(I have spent my time outside, at the terrace).
I equally liked sitting in the Café Khabbab: It´s real coffee (not Nescafé) - aaaah, sometimes that does good :-) ! And sitting in the winter sun, watching (overloaded), (old) cars passing by, - all the people being busy: For me it´s the feeling of a city, in the middle of nowhere. It´s holiday, because I do not have this in my normal life :-) !

Abdullah is an super owner and guide.Meeting him changed our trip unexpectedly and then, somehow, changed our lives as well.
He drived us there,
We found ourselves in An amazing traditional kasbah,we woke up surrounded by the Mountains, the lust of the nature around the river and abdullah's sons, brothers, and family Who took care of us as if we were his daugthers. I Will never forget this. It is unforgettable. If you are looking for quiet, and intimacy and good friends this is the place.
