This amazing gorge plunges 300 meters down to a clear river. Pastoral villages and hotels are scattered throughout the area.
Todgha gorge is an interesting place to see but definitely do it by car, you can drive all the way to the top, away from the vendors. It is worth going a bit later in the day when the sun is lower.

Best kept secret. Amazing pieces of rock, heard about it, but in person I will NOT forget it. Breathtaking scenery. Surprised to find hawkers chasing us selling their wares in this beautiful place.
Hint: recommend you stay overnight so that you can experience sunrise and sunset. Suitable footwear, clothing, good camera, sunscreen and water

This is one of the few mosques you'll be allowed to visit when in Morocco and it's entirely different. Lovingly restored, this simple mudbrick building with its white pointy cupola is quite enchanting. The guide is knowledgeable (especially if you speak French!) but anyway you'll get all your 10DH-worth of quiet pleasure. Not to be missed.

I work in the hotel industry in Tinerhir, for many years, and recently, I opened the Snack Adam, opposite the post office, where you can find me to enjoy a mint tea or a fruit juice . As soon as time allows me, I'm French-speaking guide from the city of Tinerhir to the Todra Gorge. You go on the road of Kasbahs, Ouarzazate you arrive and you want to stop at Tinghir ...You don't feel quite to penetrate into the palms area alone to the gorges ... I am at your disposal !

What an amazing experience it was to see Morocco with Balthazar Tours!!!
They tailored our holiday to suit our needs and wishes and our guides were very friendly and helpful.
The diversity of the landscape, has to be seen to be believed and everywhere we went, everyone was so friendly and the food was so delicious.
I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Souks to be a part of their culture and have the opportunity to haggle and to come home with some beautiful handcrafts at a bargain price.
Still so much more I would like to experience and will definitely be calling upon Balthazar Tours to organize my next adventure in Morocco.

It was one of the best decisions to book our horse riding tour with Mr. Dris. He took care of us all the time and the horses are wonderful and well behaved even for rookie riders. The ride across the river and all way through the atlas was one of the best experiences in our 14-day tour in Morocco. I highly recommend assetif. Isaac and katarina

While traveling in Morocco, this was by far our best rug/carpet shopping experience. Offering authentic local weaving and craftsmanship, the people here have a great thing going on. Friendly, helpful, patient, and not overly sales oriented, they seem to really want you to get what you want. Great selection of all types of locally produced product, this is a great stop in the desert.

Don;t miss the camel ride to Merzouga's El Chebbi...tents, dunes and stars....
