Volcanic Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea provide the cinema-worthy backdrop for Taormina, Sicily's legendary resort town. Twisting medieval streets and a second-century Greek theater add to its romantic air, which inspired the writings of D.H. Lawrence and Truman Capote. Take a cable car to the beach, or walk uphill behind the Church of St. Joseph for panoramic views.

Fabulous Pizzeria/ Self Service Restaurant & the best value in town-across the road from the Fountain adjacent to the Duomo-look for the brown & white sign.
Service is efficient & good variety of Sicilian fast foods. Drinks are reasonable 2-3E & pizza 2-2.50E The real find thgough is the self service restaurant which is part of the place, where they serve a range of fantastic pasta dishes as well as steak & chicken.

Excellent food, off the main tourist route and worth finding. Peaceful, lovely Terrace setting and service that really helped you make the most of your evening. We had scallopine and involtini both fabulous and the vegetables of the day were so good. Very helpful advice on wine and dessert!!!! Loved it all.

The food here was very good and arrived promptly. Because they were busy the service was a little less personal and a bit offhand, but the setting is lovely and there is plenty of outside Seating to enjoy the ambiance.

Romantic restaurant with indoor heated pool and outdoor Terrace with a spectacular view on Isola Bella.
After arriving at our hotel late on a Saturday evening we were recommended this complete gem of a restaurant by our receptionist. They accepted our late reservation and we had the most sublime meal - we shared a beef tartare starter (oh my word was it good), mains of suckling pig and fish of the day, and we shared the most amazing creme brûlée dessert. I'm not sure I have sufficient superlatives in my vocabulary to explain just how good this meal was. The petit fours and lollipops were the icing on the cake. Most definitely worth the expense!

Boasting one of the most magical backdrops, a timeless Panorama in which Mount Etna and Capo Taormina are the stars of the show, the Restaurant matches its location with spectacular Sicilian and Mediterranean cuisine. The menu focuses on mouthwatering seasonal produce and local specialties, including Pachino cherry tomatoes, Bronte pistachios, capers from Salina, red garlic from Nubia, and fine regional wines such as Nero d’Avola and Moscato di Pantelleria.Reserve your table on the beautiful Terrace or in the elegant dining room for an exceptional gastronomic experience.
We had dinner at the Timeo on 9/26. Beautiful views with complimentary lightening show thanks to Mother Nature! First misstep was only a prix fix menu accompanied by different champagnes. No warning or choice of wines. Maitre'd had an attitude that was not pleasant! When we quietly informed him that the second champagne was spoiled he recoiled in horror and protested that was impossible!! We suggested that he smell it....enough said. He poured a different wine.
For 190 euros each we expected better! Big disappointment.
Also this is Michelin recommended, not starred as he insisted.

Loved this restaurant and the fish is one of the best dishes Ive had in a long time (Dorada with capers, tomatoes). It was cooked to absolute perfection. Ive eaten a lot of fish all over Europe and this was one of the best dishes I have eaten. My daughter had the ragu and loved it and my husband Pasta with tuna egg. The Deserts were to die for
Great place

We arrived in Taormina late in the evening and this was the nearest restaurant to our hotel - what a lucky find. Away from the main street but not difficult to find it was busy when we arrived and every evening when we walked past. The food was great, the service good and prices very reasonable.

Your nose will guide you to this place at the edge of the old town, and your nose is right. We tried several types of pizza and all were delicious. You can tell the products are fresh and the dough is very tasty and crunchy on the edges, just like I ant my pizza to be. Wonderful flavors especially with the veggies. A must.

Ristorante di cucina tipica siciliana carne e pesce
We came here for lunch, attracted by a large group of diners tucking in with gusto. We had a light lunch; two pasta dishes and a shared dessert. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared and presented, and very tasty. The wine, served by the glass, was a dry Etna white and was crisp and delicious. Service was attentive and amicable. The Sicilian cheese dish was good although similar in texture and well accompanied by dessert wine. All in all we strongly recommend this restaurant
