I ate with a large corporate group (70 people). The food was delicious but the food service was very slow. I don’t think they’re used to handling large groups as some groups had already finished eating while other tables still hadn’t been served. I would like to try eating here again with my family as I’ve heard nothing but good reviews

Visited for a special occasion, booked in advance.Warm welcome by all staff.Enjoyed the duck risotto, lots of duck in the dish.Szechuan crusted kangaroo was tender and juicy,Wilted Zucchini Flower, King Brown Mushrooms with Asian Glaze was a good compliment to the meat.Loved the dessert, nougat and hazelnut icecream. Also tasted the Peach and mango souffle.Nice generous serve. There was fresh bread coming around so for those who do not choose an entree there a few bread varieties and butter to enjoy.
After the meal we went for a walk around the place and found it very interesting.Nice spot for that group photo.will return for another special treat:-)

Reasonable quality food but A$24 per head. Moderate amount for the price...samosa to start, main course, naan and rice. Service was ok, but I think the waitress needs to know that you don't put the main dishes on the table by holding the lip of the bowl...because your finger can dip into the food, which it did.

Great place to eat out with family or friends. Huge menu with plenty of variety for Breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food was really good and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they coped well when the cafe got busy with dine ins and takeaways.

Wanted a nice lunch before heading to the Showgrounds for the camping and caravan show. Ordered a burger and red wine. No it wasn’t Macdonald’s price ($20), but it was worth every cent. Beautifully built and proportioned, perfectly cooked, couldn’t fault a thing...I’m one happy camper!

We were in the neighbourhood for an event and were looking for a place to have dinner. We came across Baan Raun Thai. Arrived at about 6pm on a Friday night and were the first to dine in. We ordered the duck rice paper rolls with peanut sauce as an appetizer. I had the pad thai with crispy pork belly and my partner had a chicken laksa. Across the board, everything was delicious! The duck rice paper rolls were thick and exploding with tasty ingredients. The duck was warm and the peanut sauce tasty. It was delicious. I tried my partner’s laksa and it was coconut creamy. The only downfall was he ordered it mild, but it came spicy. We were in a rush so he didn’t send it back. He still enjoyed it despite the error. His sinuses were definitely cleared up. As for my crispy pork belly pad thai: Delicious and rich. The pork belly portions were generous, surprisingly. The pad thai moist and peanuty. The pork belly skin could’ve been crispier and the blend between the protein and the noodles could’ve been better, but not sure how. Almost felt like I was eating pad thai with pork belly on top, rather than an integrated dish. But I’ll stop being picky, because overall the two components were quite tasty and if I were in the neighbourhood I’d come back. The only other thing to note was the service was slow. I’ve noticed that at this place, it was slower than most Thai restaurants we’ve been to, and we were the only patrons in the restaurant.

A short stay for morning tea with two clients with special needs, firstly ordered two strawberry Muffins with 2 Chocolate Milkshakes + one Cappuccino. Excellent service from friendly helpful staff & happy to surtout 3 seperate receipts for each order.
Highly recommend a visit for all ages in this friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Reasonable prices for meals snacks or drinks. Paid AUD $12.50 for each muffin with a milkshake & paid AUD $4.00 for my Cappuccino.
