This restaurant is conveying the atmosphere of a coal mine with some historical photos, design of a mine and in general a quite dark setting. The food here is good and affordable, although for me eating Austrian / German food for a longer period can be a bit heavy (we stayed at Pitztal for 1 week and visited this place for several times). A fun detail for us from Northern Europe was that the beer is cheaper than the soft drinks :)

Having done research online beforehand we had seen the menu we specifically headed for this restaurant and were not disappointed. The menu was still available and the dish my wife wanted (Chicken in mushroom sauce) was a delight.
The portions were massive and the food very well cooked and very tasty. For once the price of soft drinks to accompany the meal were not excessive and the service was excellent. Waitress spoke very good English and we were easily understood and she was very attentive to our needs.
The inside of the restaurant is massive and I imagine a raucous night is guaranteed in the middle of winter with a hearty real fire blazing away. However, we were there in summer and so sat at the tables outside. Yes you are only fifteen feet from the main road but the traffic didn't seem to bother us as much as the flies. For our meal there were rather a lot and in the end we went inside to finish our drinks and leave then to the remnants.
There was also a chap setting up his equipment ready to put on a traditional Austrian folk evening but we had to depart before he had got going but we imagine it would have again added to the atmosphere.
We were very pleased to have chosen this place and for it to have lived up to our expectations and hopes. For my wife it was the best meal of the vacation and on due consideration I felt it was the place that gave the best service - so a winner in a couple of categories.

Brilliant and atmospheric restaurant
The dinner we had was awesome, all of us. Our hosts from Haus Attos, where we stayed recommended this restaurant and it was absolutely stunning. Try local pasta, or steak, all of it was great! Thank you.
Odporučame, reštaurácia a jedlo výborné, treba vyskúšať rybu, "lokálne halušky" aj steak :) Odporučenie sme dostali od majiteľov ubytovania, kde sme sa ubytovali v Haus Attos, všetci sa tu lokálne poznajú a bolo to príjemne cítiť :).

We are going to the Stalder-Hütte every year - since 2006 - when we are skiing the Hochzeiger, every lunch.
It is always a very good choice because they serve delicious food, offer friendly and very, very fast service and are a nice place to strengthen in the middle of a great skiing day.

Came back after long seven years and I'm pleased to say that this purely family restaurant is still one of the best in Tirol. We've chosen a great mix of startes mainly consists from the fresh offer of different salads together with a local ham and home made dressings.
As a main dish we went for a sea food salad and home made pizza. All in all, it was delicious.
Like seven years ago, all our orders were handled by the daugher and mother team immediatelly and food was served basically by return.
We really emjoyed a family atmosphere there and quality of food and service. We will hopefully come back again a bit sooner...:-)

Went here on our holiday in Langenfeld. After a big disappointment at Don Camillo this restaurant had really good pizza's. Definitely will visit here again. Not expensive and really good food.

Best bacon dumplings (speck knodel) I had in Austria! Surprisingly low-priced with no competition on the mountain. Great farmers (smoked) sausage also! Great play areas for children to entertain themselves and burn-off energy.

Fresh Tyrolean specialities to eat in or take away A healthy appetite is required when we dish up the famous XXL Hallenbad Schnitzel at the Restaurant Quellalpin. The oversized breaded delicacy is well known and loved far beyond the Kaunertal valley by locals and guests alike. Yet this isn't all that our regionally rooted Restaurant Quellalpin has to offer. We serve a variety of freshly prepared regional dishes, sought-after international dishes and small delicacies such as crunchy fresh salads and desserts with Tyrolean charm and modern hospitality. Enjoyment is simply a matter of course here with us in the Kaunertal valley.
We went in summer 2017 to the swimming ? pool with the family. The place looks very new, and impeccable. There is also a small bistro. We enjoyed our stay, highly recommend.

Welcome at Gampe Thaya. Indulge, enjoy, switch off. This is the motto when you visit us at Gampe Thaya in Sölden. Daily fresh we prepare regional dishes with products from our local farmers and from our own farm. Our cows also like to stay at Gampe Thaya - they serve the milk for the delicious cheese we prepare directly on the hut. Come and found out - we are looking forward to welcome you. Family Prantl open from mid of November until mid of April and mid of June until October (monday day off) no credit Cards accepted - only cash
One of the few places you can easily hike up to even in snowy conditions.
Lunching there we were imopressed with the cheerful decorations and the joyful atmosphere of the post-ski crowd. The hauswurst and sauerkraut was a treat, and so are the homemade cakes. Good offering of drinks. Service was nice and the waitresses are doing a fine job.

Great location, nice Terrace and indoor space, with continuous food being served throughout the day at a high quality. Very helpful and forthcoming staff, Austrian dishes at above average quality, good portions for those who value size. A very good and varied selection of food and drinks, with weekly specials, family friendly, but excellent for childless groups as well. We wanted to try other restaurants during the day as well, but kept coming back to Giggijoch as they were superb in so many ways.
