The Commercial is a former coaching inn run by the same family for over 100 years. We are an inn offering excellent value home cooked food using the fantastic local produce available to us wherever possible. There is a full bar menu with weekly specials for that extra something special. There is a small cosy dining room the Lounge at the front of the building and a light airy Conservatory dining room to the rear
Great service, good food. My wife's fish was excellent and my gammon very succulent. The ice cream pudding was so large we had to share.

This cream tea is brilliant, best we have had this trip. Just happened to be driving from St Ives towards Pendeen and came across the sign for "cream teas" so stopped and was a lovely setting, sit inside or out and enjoy the lovely freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream.

Sad to say we were very disappointed by the food, with the management also being particularly rude. Having gone there on the first night of our stay in the local area we didn't go back having found far more hospitable establishments with far better food.

A great day watching rugby rounded off with dinner in the King's Arms. Scallops and pate starters well received, tasty and well presented. The mains of pollock, venison and fish pie all pretty good, although fish pie could've been hotter. Proper Job was pretty good. May come back.

We were passing through St Just around lunchtime so decided to stop and grab a bite to eat, we popped into Warrens to get ourselves pasties (what else?!). The pasties themselves were delicious and a decent size (filled up a ravenous teenager). Whilst we had initially only intended to get pasties some of the pastries looked so good we ended up buying some of those as well - these were also excellent. The staff in the shop were friendly and more than happy to help. All in all I'd thoroughly recommend this bakery.

Fish and chips
Decided to get fish and chips while visiting St Just so called in to Jeremy’s. The fish was cooked to order and was beautifully white with a crisp batter. The chips were plentiful and tasted delicious. Crispy and not soggy or greasy. Good value too. Would definitely recommend.

This ice cream is always excellent and I would highly recommend it. The flavour and texture is good.
The only reason I give it four stars and not five is the attitude of the elder lady who works there. We went at a busy time and her manner was very abrupt and sullen. No smile, please or thank you.
Manners cost nothing.

Went in stumbling down step...waitress smirked! Never mind. Sat down on some stools noticing a sign saying 'we will come and serve you'... Sat there and no menu offered, waitresses carried on chatting, ten mins later still waiting, caught their eye and shrugged, waitress then came over and said everything ok, I said No, got my coat and left!! How do these cafes survive? It's not good to ignore customers as so many other places around to spend money in!
Found another place across road, Black rabbit cafe, wonderful service, food and £25 spent, worth every penny!
