Called in for lunch, on basis of reviews. Wasn't disappointed, the owner was really friendly and gave my two children wet clothes as they were both suffering from the heat. We had the lamb chops and chicken shish kebabs. Very tasty. A good choice.

We picked our fish and then they cooked them perfectly. Their salads were fresh and delicious and they have the most amazing chocolate souffles. The fish was cooked to perfection. They served us toasted bread to dip in olive oil and it was so good. It was our last big dinner in Turkey and it was the perfect ending for a perfect trip.

Stumbled upon this cafe after viewing the St. John's Basicllica ruins just up the hill on a very hot day. Originally planned to just get some shade and a cold drink, but the menu looked good so we had an early lunch. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meals. The chicken salad and Roschti were delicious, and a nice change after a week of kofte and kebabs. :) The service was friendly and we took advantage of the wifi.

We had a wonderful lunch here, exactly what we were looking for. We had a veg dish, Turkish pancake and mixed platter. We had to take some back to our guesthouse as the portions were large but so delicious. The owner was also very friendly and sat and chatted with us for a short time. Definitely recommend! Prices were awesome too.

A number of tour groups routinely dine here; the cuisine is consistent and the location is easy to find in the center of town. The owner is very nice and friendly as well, and the restaurant has long been established here.
I found the actual quality of the food very ordinary, however. When you've dined for a while in Turkey, you discover how great the food is, so you'll likely rate this much higher if visiting here during your first few days. We had been in Turkey a bit less than 2 weeks, so it's really an average venue at best. I had chicken kebap that was pretty bland and not especially moist, so I would look for other restaurants instead.

Set on the square at the Byzantine Aquaduct, sits this lovely restaurant. We were sat next to the beautiful Fountain which made it a amazing summer dining experience. This restaurant serves sort of Fusion cuisine - from the name Wallabies - I believe it is Australian influence.
We ordered the Mantar Dolma (Stuffed Mushrooms) for 10TL. It was grilled mushrooms filled with finely chopped onions, garlic and parsley butter and topped with cheese. It was very juicy and delicious.
For mains we had the Krepli Tavuk Sarmasi (Chicken Crepe - 20TL) and Cupra (Sea Bream - 25TL). The crepe was filled with chicken pieces, mushrooms, some herbs and spices, creamy tomato sauce and was topped (more like drown) in bechemal sauce. It was served with salad, rice and french fries. The fish on the other hand was charcoal grilled and served with salad. Both dishes were so delicious and for a change from the traditional Turkish dining.
Overally, it was a fantastic dining experience.

Great atmosphere. You could have a great meal with ancient sightseeing. Near by the centre and the main hearth of the city location fun area, water and Fountain near by old aqueduct pillars in the background. adana shish kebab of beef/lamb tasted distinctly of mutton though. Complimentary Turkish bread fresh hot out of the wood oven and Turkish pizza, traditional meal also usually homemade, vegetarian meze plate village-style lamb ,Wonderful baklava and künefe dessert.
The location, overlooking ancient aqueducts with pelicans nesting, could not have been better. The staff were friendly and quick to serve.
A couple menu items, though, could have been better. The penne didn't look at all like the picture, replacing a red sauce with green sauce, replacing tomatoes with eggplant, and adding French fries.
Still, we might go again for the more traditional Turkish food.
