We picked this restaurant at random from the plaza and were not disappointed. The food was freshly prepared and super delicious. I personally recommend the silpancho.

We ate lunch twice at La Vaca Loca in Samaipata Bolivia. Their new location, just outside of town, but within walking distance, is really a nice place, especially for outdoor dining. The Lomita Sandwich is the best in Bolivia! The restaurant is exceptionally clean, has excellent service, and beautiful views from their Terrace dining. The owners are a German/Bolivian couple, and are very warm and hospitable. I love La Vaca Loca for lunch and for their ice cream, all of which is very reasonably priced, even by Bolivian standards. We will definitely go back there the next time we are in Samaipata!

International, Bolivian and vegetarian food. Cozy athmosphere, friendly staff, great food. Eat a nice meal, or drink a beer and enjoy the marvelous view from the Terrace. We speak English, Spanish and German.
I can sincerely recommend this place. We happened to stroll through Samaipata and went in because of the great music, we left with a full stomach and a huge smile on our face. If you like eating meat I can recommend the Terijaki chicken for...MoreHello David. Thank you so much for your nice words. We are happy, that you liked our restaurant! Hope to see you soon! So sad. They have a super location and could deliver so much.
The espresso was disappointing, just average. Watery not strong enough.
Ordered a Crepe which arrived worryingly fast - just 2mins. The filling was great however completely cold - obviously not cooked to order. Most disappointing.

Lively in the daytime, romantic at night with a spectacular view of the surrounding Mountains. Great music background and an everchanging chalkboard menu of international delights. Prices fit to suit a traveler's budget Located in La posada Del Sol Hotel with a full bar offering exotic drinks.
Stayed at the hotel and ate here. Catered well for vegetarians and appeared to have a good range of food available. Did run out of the sweet we wanted - should have eaten earlier perhaps.

Food for everyone! We are serving food from the world with hand-made breads, tortillas and yufkas. Enjoy it!
the cheese tasted old, I got diarrhea, my brother I was with said his burger was way too greasy, they didn't offer about half of the menu that initially lured us in because they were "too busy"? (there were two other people in the shop) and they wouldn't accept a slightly torn bill (ALOT of the bills are torn in Bolivia and this was the only time a place didn't accept it) so we had to go to another place that happily gave us a newer bill and come back to pay. would not recomend this place at all. (the fries and the decor is nice though)

Semplicemente fantastico. Atmosfera accogliente e familiare.

Facing a relaxing garden in an inner courtyard, this small restaurant had excellent food. The Spanish owner does a great job with the cooking. Again, the selling point was the fabulous food!

A place to enjoy yourselves with delicious cookies, sweet and salty cakes, all made at home. Also enjoy an aromatic cup of export quality Bolivian coffee, espresso, cappuccino and many others. Natural juices and other delightful delicatessen served by Giovanni and Sandra, owners of the Caffé. While enjoying all these, feel the surrounding pieces of handmade art and feel free to purchase a unique gift to take home. We´ll be waiting for you!
We visited this delightful cafe on our visit to Samaipata. Giovanni, the owner was so welcoming and friendly, the drinks were perfect and the cafe itself is a work of art , thanks to the artwork of Sandra - also the owner and a well...MoreThank you very much for your very kind comment.
