We have been there recently and find the place very comfortable. It is a fine restaurant in the German style. Normaly in the evenings it is very crouded. May be you need a reservation for the place.
Service is very good and fast. Interesting Saarländisch Food and international one too.
Good beers, different types are available

Going to a 3* Michelin restaurant, expectations are high. This review relates our personal experiences this particular evening 21 July 2015, which fell dramatically short of our expectations.
When we parked the car outside the nearby hotel where we were going to stay, temperature showed 34 degrees. We figured that a place like this would have air conditioning and dressed quite formally. However, this evening the dinner was served in the garden for all guests, no choice given. It’s a beautiful garden, but much of the magic of the service setting is lost. Our amuse-bouches were served in gazing sun that was still on the table, despite the parasols. After a few hours, the temperature was quite pleasant but it was really too hot to enjoy fully during the first part. Throughout the dinner we had to fight against a wasp and a few flies, also interested in our food.
We went for the full degustation menu at 195 euro. However, none of the 8 dishes were up to the standard of the promising amuses-bouches and there were no more extra dishes until the final sucreries, also quite impressive. The total amount of food was quite right in the end. Each dish was the piece of art you expect, but the tasting sensations were never beyond quite good. The meat in main course, duck breast, was a real disappointment even though it seemed cooked to perfection. I had high expectations for the first dessert, Rhabarbermüsli, but I actually didn't realize I had it until the second one came. I thought the white fluffy stuff with some berries – with just a hint of rhubarb and no crunchiness, and much too similar to the second one – was just a bonus. Red berries were a theme and many of the dishes had a quite pronounced vinegar taste.
We took the wine menu, without knowing its price, and it actually turned out be less than expected at 105 euros, with good and interesting wines, but no wows here either. In total you drank enough, but I found it irritating that several times I was served less than my companion and we both less than at the neighbouring table. The relatively young personnel didn‘t do any real errors, but lacked in the soft speak and finesse that you expect from a restaurant of this kind. I guess the whole evening was a big challenge for them, having to run the extra steps into the garden, and it showed in the broken rhythm of our meal. Maybe we were just unlucky this evening, but what should be characteristic for a 3 star is a consistent quality. I agree with another reviewer: one star and half the price would be appropriate.

This place has some cooking tables, where a Japanese Chef prepares your food right on front of you, on a tepanyaki grill, which is also your table. So I would suggest asking for one of these tables.
The food is also really great and as authentic as the way it is prepared. there are always nice menus, and you can combine your food with a huge selection of Sake, Wine or Beer.

I went there with my friends several times. It's nicely decorated and has a comfortable atmosphere. The ribs taste especially good, which I highly recommend. The traditional Mexican burritos are also quite decent. It's located near the market and has quite a lot of seats.

one of these nice hidden places, where you can have very fine prepared meals without sophistication, nice service, good wines, and low prices. Jut in a little calm street next to the Motel-One and behind the main terrass place... they'll have local specialties, but also very nice and simple roasted merguez with roasted potatoes.... all very traditional but prepared with love... go for it!

A perfect blend of old school Italian cuisine with a touch of modern influences - That's Ristorante Roma. Service is amazing, the wine selection great and the food authentic and always perfect. Everything cooked to perfection and absolutely flawless.

It's a small and nice restaurant right in the middle of the historic part of the city.
Worthwhile advance booking because it's really nice location with good food and thus most full.
The Black Angus steak with vegetables was perfect and the grilled salmon with roast potatoes was. The staff is friendly.
You can see how your meal has been prepared in the open kitchen.
The homemade ice cream with extraordinary flavours is delicious too.

Original Thai Food
Cost: €15 pp (soup + main)
It seemed empty and I was the only customer there at the time. The lady didn't know English unfortunately. She did switch on some (possibly) Thai music in the background for her only customer though, which was nice.
I ordered a Tom Kha soup (w/ coconut milk) and a chicken w/ rice dish which was marked with two chillies next to its name, figured these people would be serious about their spice levels (German food in general has no hint of chillies in it).
The soup arrived first and it was almost perfect! There was delicious coconut milk, enough kaffir lime leaves to add fragrance, lots of lemon juice, spiciness and boneless chicken pieces. The only disappointment was its over-salty nature, thus ruining a near perfect soup. Alas, this too had fallen victim to local tastes.
The chicken dish was, thankfully, properly spicy. The serving size was large enough. There was, however, too much oil and the flavour mainly consisted of the chillies and oil being used and not much else.
(In their defense, it was called Paprika Chicken after all.)
A better experience than what I've had with local food so far, will come again for the other dishes.

I think it's the best sushi in saarbruecken.
There are many sushi restaurants in saarbruecken but only the one Osaka.
The furniture are Asian looking and I felt very cozy. Everything was very very clean. The waitress was very very friendly and had time to declare everything I asked for.
All kind of sushi and salad and the soup was very delicious and I was impressed about the freshness.
There are so many different kinds that I never seen before.
My eye were bigger then my stomach, I ordered to much, so they made a doggy bag. No problem sir.
The prices are not expensive.
The sushi kitchen is open and very clean too.
I dont go in other sushi-restaurant in saarbruecken from now.
