This is Denmark, so make sure you bring a bit more money. But here, it is worth it. The Rørvig Kro turns truly local ingredients into delicious, sophisticated, and not overly fancy dishes. A true gem considering the location, and in a very cosy setting inside an old building with a lot of character. Highly highly recommended.

This nice restaurant is by far the best eateri in Nykøbing. The food are italian/french-inspired and very delicate. The surroundings are nice too - and their coffee outstanding. You can buy their bread, also a must when visiting Nykøbing.

Came here for lunch on a sunny day and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, unique beers and huge portions of fresh food. An innovative ordering system, where you raise the flag on your table whenever you need the staff's attention means tables are attended to immediately.

Excellent food cooked by chef/owner. Good seasonal starter of asparagus; fine "Omaha" beef steak, cooked medium with good range of vegetables, and a freshly made bearnaise sauce; strawberry compote. 4 glasses of wine included in the deal: kir au pêche/sauvignon blanc/merlot/muscat de beaumes de venise. What a bargain for 299Dkk (£30 sterling)! Very warm welcome from chef and his wife and all their serving team. An unexpectedly good experience.

Not to be confused with Martin's Cantina which is at the east end of Algade. Had a late dinner here since closes late. Had special and found it to be good comfort food. Naturally, the portion was healthy as well as simply good. Believe owner may be Middle Eastern. Had a Greek course on one of their specials the following day.

The food is great the view is even better. You can just sitt there for hours and look at the water.
But the food is also great. We have tried lots of dishes, the Anneberg tallerknen, is just great. But so is the seafood evnings, if you can get a table.

If you are on a diet, you're in trouble!
The ice-cream at this place is incredible - all home made and with lots of extras. Guf is fluffy cream/marshmallow that they will put between the scoops. Can thoroughly recommend the blackberry sorbet, chocolate ice-cream, rum-raisin, lemon, vanilla - well everything looked good! The waffle cones are homemade too and you can have sprinkles (drys) and Flødebolle just to ensure the calorie intake goes through the roof!
The kids will love you forever for taking them here!

Have several choices where you can eat at cafe: out front, just inside, playroom, or garden. Each choice has its own ambiance. The cafe does breakfast and lunch. Place your order at the front just inside and have a seat. Entrees have a gourmet presentation and portion. Fine if you're tasting. Otherwise, order adequately or go elsewhere. Food is quality over quantity.

We arrived this place to have our lunch, and the waiters were as previous years, nice. The dishes were tasteful, both the fishfilets and the tortillas-based dishes. We sat outside, and after some fee raindrops, the rainscreen was used.
But we have one complaint, which do not have any thing to do with the restaurant itself: the panflute people where performing their music at a very high and annoing sound volum.
It was almost impossible to talk to eachother around the table.
We hope the manager of the restaurant will necessary action

Rørvig, which is a typical resort area, is mostly dead come September. Therefore the restaurant was not full, but still well occupied with about 20 guests. Not bad at that time of the year and in itself a mark of quality. The interior decor is certainly not taken out of a design magazine, but it is well maintained and conveys a pleasant atmosphere. We decided to go for the most expensive items on the menu, a decision we did not regret. Excellent kitchen and immaculate service on the part of the waiter contributed to a happy experience.
P.S. For once I allowed the waiter to choose the wine. He did well and I am now acquainted with a very good Portuguese wine that I did not know beforehand.
