Visited for the first time on one of the hottest days of the year and feared the holiday crowds, but our fears were put to shame: Even though the parking lots were quickly filling up, this place - set in lush Danish countryside - holds the big crowds very well as it's well spread out over a larger area.
The theme park has rides and attractions suited for the entire family, with the majority of rides good for <8 year olds. It offers good variety of open-in-the-sun areas as well as plenty of naturally shaded areas. Even though it's a theme park, prices are quite reasonable.
I will definitely visit again next year!
Tips:
1. Bring your own packed lunch unless you like poor quality junk food (burgers, pizza, sausages, etc) - this is for sure an area where they can improve.
2. Plan on being here the whole day!
3. Bring your swimming suit & towels if you like soaking in the pool & water rides.

Situated beautifully just south of Nykøbing Sjælland you'll find the Glassmuseum. The building itself is remarkable and worth a visit just as it is. It has a cafe overlooking the surroundings, we didn't try it out but the food looked nice. The exibition however is quíte small and seems a bit random - a combination of old drinking glass and modern glass art.

I was visiting with friends, and staying there for some days. The weather was absolutely lovely. I had a really, really lovely time. It is a beautiful little spot to keep your boat.

While this is not open everyday (actually only one day a week) the two older gentleman caring for the mill are very charming and the inside of the mill is a gem to see. A fully functioning mill from the 18 hundreds with cute little paintings and full of love. You can also buy grain that has been milled there. So glad this mill has been restored and is now open to visit.

Flot lavet.

Beautiful fossils in the museum. Good for about 1,5 hours.
Friendly staff that is very willing to answer questions.
After a visit of the museum, make sure to search for fossils yourself.
We searched for about 2 hours and found all kinds of small fossils.
Great fun...

This museum covers numerous Exhibitions. Indoor you can learn about the sun chariot (solvognen) and the bronze age. Some nice displays.
Outdoor you can learn the history of the holiday cottage development - a main contribution to the growth of this area the last 100 years.
Outdoor you also find a very nice flower and herbal garden with a lot of different spieces. Next to it their is a beehive. Also, you can learn the history of Niels Juel a Danish artillery ship during the second world war.

Efter besøg på en del andre af områdets gallerier endte vi på Galleri Nakke hage. Og det var en fornøjelse. Meget rigtig fint kunst og en meget entusiastisk ejer fortalte og forklarede. Fint galleri, ganske omfangsrigt, vist nyeligt istandsat.
En god oplevelse og spændende kunst. Her kommer vi helt sikkert igen

As the Danish weather is not dependable, a visit to this historical museum is a good way of spending the time on a rainy day, while visiting the Isle of Mors. The exhibits are presented in five buildings of this property, the main building of which had been an old priory or cloister. You start in the main building where you can buy tickets in the entrance, where the shop is. On the ground floor, there is also a cafe, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea and cake. You can go through two floors of a collection of articles showing the cultural history of the Isle of Mors such as the history of the cloister, town and merchant life, porcelain, relics from medieval times, weapon collection, toys, textiles, mussel and oyster fishing history, etc. During our visit, a special exhibit on the role of underground resistance movement in Mors during World War II. Except for this special exhibit, the rest of the museum are not presented in an interesting manner. It looked and smelled of old things, which were just piled and placed without logic in the exhibit rooms. Having seen other historical museums before, this museum could have been presented in a more interactive and educational manner. It is a pity since the logistics are there - just a matter of presentation.

Birkehøj Passage Graves contain the longest burial chamber on Zealand. The internal dimensions are impressive, 11m x 2m x 2m. Constructed 5200 years ago. It served as a communal tomb for as many as 50 generations until the end of the Stone Age. It is fantastic think how they could raise the 9-tone stones.
From the outside it does not look anything special. But take a walk through the stone narrow passage to the burial chamber
where there is light, when you come in (did not worked when I visited it). in 1909 Birkehøj looted of its contents of antiquities.
It is situated only a few meters from the main road and easy to spot (visible from the main road) and easily accessible. From the top of Birkehøj is a spectacular view of the northern part of Odsherred.
