Had dinner here this evening. Ordered the 1/2 rack with a chicken leg. Came with cole slaw, potato. The ribs were covered in a red bbq sauce. The meat fell off the bone. The chicken was a bit dry. The skin was crisp. The side bowl of brown sauce that tasted a lot like St Hubert's. Washed it down with a half jug of Sangria. My wife had the hamburger steak which also the brown sauce.

If you like over-priced average food you've found the place. Typical Québécois "bouffe" spaghetti, pizza, club Sandwich etc. Not that Tawdon offers much in the way of alternatives...

Went during the Holidays. Service for lunch at the counter was a little slow. My chickeh breast was well cooked and good. Didn't like the BBQ sauce however, I prefer St-Hubert's... Would have liked a little more fries.

Authentic Thai and Sichuan's food. We welcome group, couple and family for your romantic or family dinner and for you job party. Vegan option are available on demand.
The event was a combined birthday for my husband and my daughter in law so my grandchild was also there. I made a reservation because this is a very busy place, and I made it for 4:30 pm as this is the time they open at. I had heard that service could be a little slow. Solution: be the first to arrive hahaha and you will great all the attention you need. The food was delicious, we opted for Menu A which is for two and has the General Tao Chicken, to die for as well as the Crispy Sesame Beef entree, hunan dumplings, everything was great. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back for sure.

My friends and I heard that Dino's was under new management so we tried it out. I ordered the Greek pizza. Normally, pizza places use regular black olives on their Greek pizza--black olives have very little taste and I prefer to have Kalamata olives on my Greek pizza. Lo and behold, Dino's uses Kalamata olives on their Greek pizza! I was very happy and the pizza was delicious!
My friends had the Québécoise. From them, they said that there was too much bacon on top. Too much bacon?! One added that the sauce had a smokey flavor to it that he didn't like.
For me it was an okay place with a great Greek pizza.
The atmosphere was friendly but I noticed that the servers were busy, but one table had three very loud and obviously drunk "dudes" and two or three servers were there talking to them--they knew each other. It bothered me because 1) they were loud and used course language and 2) the servers were spending too much time with their friends rather than their customers. I even witnessed one of the waitresses taking a couple of shots with them. Is this normal? I don't know, but hopefully those three guys never come back...at least if I'm there. The owner needs to do something about keeping the atmosphere family-friendly.

Creperie Bretonne using traditional local products lanaudière and quebec.
Sitting in this nice restaurant in a large country house on a quiet street in Rawdon (off the busy thoroughfare of Saturday afternoons), we throughly enjoyed our relaxing meal with flavours and a choice of menu that reflects various regions of France (and of Quebec, of course!)
We did not know what to expect but eating crepes on a Terrace sounded like a good idea on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Furthermore, I wanted to see if the restaurant deserved its multiple 5-star reviews on Trip Advisor.
We both started with the vegetable "potage" (a blended vegetable soup) which was simple but smooth and flavourful. A welcomed starter to a heavier meal.
My wife then had the 'complete' crepe (a Quebec favourite of egg, ham and cheese) and she loved it! In fact, as opposed to other places that use Cheddar in this crepe (a real "no-no"), the cheese which I suspect was Emmental, married itself perfectly with the crepe.
I had the "Parisian" crepe made of of ham, mushrooms and béchamel sauce). The ham, sliced thin and delicious, was "organically grown" and we were told was from the region. The crepe was thin and light (as it should be!) and added a soft wheat flavour to the mix. In fact, even without adding any other flavouring like salt, pepper or anything else, the crepe was delicious.
Final verdict: when a meal can be eaten without adding anything to it, then the chef deserves praise as it is for me the sign of a good meal.
This place does deserve its 5-star rating and we recommend it!
Enjoy!

As good as any bagel we’ve had in Montreal. In addition to plain, poppy and sesame, they make a great cheese bagel and two sweet bagels – cinnamon sugar and maple – that are delicious toasted with butter in the morning. La Bagelerie is the first stop we make when we arrive at our summer house in Rawdon; the day before we leave, we order 2-3 dozen bagels to take home. So happy to have a local supply!
