Stayed at the Rsenhof several times. Great location to Ramstaein AB. Clean, cozy and the restaurant is very nice. Breakfast was wonderful.

Big Emma's is a popular place with Americans because it's right around the corner from the front gate of Ramstein Air Base. I've been here multiple times during my tour in Germany, usually for a large get-together/going-away.
Americans love this place because of the portion size: large beers and even bigger schnitzel. It is definitely quantity over quality. The food here isn't terrible by any means....but seriously, who really needs a kilo of schnitzel? If you ever had one of the many local (German) restaurants in Kaiserslautern area you will realize that this place is pretty average. I prefer restaurants such as Spinnrädl, Zur Burg, or even Brauhaus am Markt over Big Emma.
Some people claim the service here sucks. I don't remember glowing service either, however, this place is always packed. I also think people who are not used to the typical service in Europe are quick to complain and don't realize servers aren't going to rush you in and out of the restaurant.
Ultimately, this place is a good ice breaker for your first meal in Germany as an American but if you really want a better local experience try one of the aforementioned places or try going to Saarbrucken or Mannheim for a real experience.

It's a very charming little Gasthaus that i went to a lot, and every meal i ever had was exquisite, and they make everything fresh. Definitely a Gasthaus to visit when in Landstuhl.
Finally found the Jaegerschnitzel (hunter schnitzel) I remembered from the 30 years ago. Andreas Stube makes the right brown sauce with the right consistency, taste, right amount of seasoning, lots of sliced mushrooms and this on top of a perfectly pounded cooked pork. Sides were salad and fried potatoes. My husband Swiss schnitzel was also deliciously prepared. My son ordered the schnitzel with cream sauce while my daughteri-in-law ordered the special of the day schnitzel with the pineapple sauce. They both were pl with their meals. Andreas Stube is a small place, They have an upstairs Seating and when the weather is nice, Seating outside. Food is very good. Owners are friendly, speak English and place is children friendly.
This place is worth multiple visits. The owner mentioned the have different types of schnitzels as part of their weekly specials.
Left is Swiss schnitzel and right is Jaegerschnitzel (hunter schnitzel)

Family-run, Sicilian-Italian food: salads, pizzas, pastas, entres, desserts. Superb!
When you're on kissing and hugging terms with the owners, and they welcome you like long lost relatives - and the food is always great, what's not to love? One of our go-to restaurants, great choices of Italian meals, also a popular place for get togethers and celebrations.

I am ashamed that after 3 years living in Germany, we only recently found this Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. The bruschetta appetizer was fantastic and I had a tortellini dish that was amazing. They served us fresh bread at the table and were very accommodating with our infant and toddler. The server and staff were very friendly and we walked out knowing we had a great meal.

Ate here a couple times while staying in Hotel Christine. Very cool atmosphere and neat airplane propeller being used as a fan above the bar. Definitely an American influence on the menu with several good options. Decent German beer selection and the staff was very friendly.

Its hard to find an authentic tasty Asian food. This is my favorite spot. I love this place. Lunch menu is including a bowl of soup of the day(price €6.50-€8.00) from 1100-1400 Monday-Friday. Dinner menu is avalable too. Still price isnt as bad as other Asian restaurants. Its a must go. They have a free parking area too which is a plus. I highly recommend this place.

We were celebrating a birthday. Restaurant was cozy with a warm & friendly staff. They went out of their way to make it a wonderful evening. The bartender was very knowledgable on wines & also recommended a small batch gin. Delightful! Food was served with a flair. We each had something different & everyone was happy. I would definitely go back!

We’ve been here twice and unfortunately We were never impressed with the food. It’s ok ,tastes cheap but not bad . One time I ordered spaghetti with Pesto and I got a cream sauce... I guess if you don’t really know about Italian food, you wouldn’t care but if I go to a Italian place I except real Italian food.
