First time here, and definitely be back. Starter was a help yourself salad, fresh and many choices. Main course was some lovely pork with sauce and noddles and a lovely desert finished it off. I went in here on a Monday night and it was packed.

The situation of this restaurant is really nice, good view on the lake.
But the food is quite disapointing for the price you pay and the service is slow and rude !
Futhermore, making pay for tap Water (sold as Still Water) 0,5L : 5,80€ is a pure scandale !
This is really not a joke and they insist to make you pay even if nowhere it is written....
I even wonder if this is legal...
I would definitly NOT go back to this restaurant !

This restaurant offers very good food with a large variety of choices and has a large outside dinner area overlooking the beautiful Bodensee (Lake of Constance).
Very friendly people serving you. Certainly a highly recommended restaurant.
Be aware that during weekends reservation is required as it is a popular place to go for dinner.

The restaurant Zur Alten Mosterei is located between the pedestrian zone (Seestrasse) and the parking lot near the railway station thus easy to access from both sides. The restaurant comprises of the ground floor with 4-5 tables, kitchen and toilets, and the more spacious wood paneled upper floor which is preferred for dining. I appreciate the short menu which lists about 8-10 appetizers and the same number of main dishes. Alberto the chef is very creative, preparing excellent dishes which are not the usual fare except for the very affordable lunch time specials. It is virtually magic how he is able to concoct such delicious food in the very small kitchen. The several times I had dined there, I was never disappointed. The service, mostly by his wife, is friendly and efficient, the ambiance cozy.

Was pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of the food. A decent wine list and the menu is quite large. Simply a good restaurant!

The "Kranz" in the small village of Liggeringen (belonging to Radolfzell) is an excellent place to taste "Dünnele". This is a regional speciality in the southwestern corner of Germany and neighbouring areas. It's the alemannic answer to pizza and comes with all kinds of variations in the toppings. The "Kranz" offers some of the best ones. Ideally you order the combo of 7 different "Dünne" and enjoy them in a group. This takes it's time (3hrs recommended) but it's worth it. Also they have some other traditional dishes that you don't find at many places and - very personal opinion - they have the best apple juice around there. It is especially nice in summer when you can sit outside, but also the interior of the place is quite rustic and pleasant.
By the way: the city bus from Radolfzell, line 6, starting at the railway station, brings you almost directly to the place. There is minimum an hourly connection during daytime and evening. The final destination (where it turns and runs back to Radolfzell) is 5 minutes from the "Kranz". It takes ca. 20 minutes to the railway station in Radolfzell.

This place has a wide variety to offer, from gluten-free chocolate cake to salad, quinoa and vegetarian dishes. Food is tasty and easily digested, one can taste that it's food prepared with good ingredients. Restaurant is cosy, even though in winter it is a little on the chilly side. It is a good place to meet with friends and chat over lunch and coffee. Outside is free space for little kids to run. They have limited Seating outside. Beside the restaurant is a bookshop so older children can browse there if their parents' meals take longer to finish.

Between two of us during a four day stay we tasted twelve flavours of ice creams. All were delicious and hard to pick a favourite. The range changed frequently with selections of fruit sorbets, nut varieties and vanillas. They also have a coffee machine. Fantastic value at 1 euro a scoop. Friendly service and very popular. Highly recommended.

Alberto, moved from Zur Alten Mosterei zu Florian’s which closed for good and renamed it Zwirners Restaurant in honour of his family. The new location is more spacious especially the kitchen. During the past 3 weeks we had dined there several times and were never disappointed. In fact I can could copy and paste the review I had written when Alberto was at his former location. I appreciate the short menu which lists about 8-10 appetizers and the same number of main dishes. Alberto is a passionate chef, very creative, preparing excellent dishes which are not the usual fare except for the very affordable lunch time specials. It is virtually magic how he is able to concoct such delicious food. The service, mostly by his wife, is friendly and efficient, the ambiance cozy.
