On business trip in this pleasant little town. There are two italians next door to each other with this one looking the more stylist. Excellent staff. Friendly. Attentive. English spoken. Food was plentiful and of good quality. Prices were good too. Good choice for business or family on holday.

I've known this wonderful family-run tipical austrian restaurant since I was a child. It is around an hour drive away from Vienna and is definitely worth the trip to the lower austrian countryside town Miesenbach, which is around 10km away from Puchberg am Schneeberg, a very popular vacation and ski village. If one is seeking great real tipical austrian food, this is the place to go. I promise to post better photos of it as soon as I can.

The personnel is super nice and the portion of spätzle would have been big enough for three people! Location is beautiful.

I visited Puchberg at the time when almost all restaurants had vacation. Thank you for hospitality. The food and service was nice.

A very fine dining experience- an alpine walk, meticulous smart service, sitting on the balcony enjoying a stunning view...high quality cooking with very good fresh ingredients which was a very reasonable price- not to mention the intriguing building by one of the great early modern architects. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

I liked the old style 'Austrian countryside' charming decor of the place with waitresses dressed in the same old fashioned typical way. The large menu was happily translated by the head waitress.
We had an excellent pumpkin soup with the special Styrian pumpkin oil (we had to buy some after, it is so good) and also a great garlic soup.
Our meal was copious and delicious, we tried deer in different recipes. Our friend took the trout and found it one of his best ever.
A very good choice in the village; easy to find in the center, just off the main road.

we went there for visiting the renowned Summer Theatre
the restaurant belongs to a nice hotel and specialises on pre- or après- Meals for the Theatre Crowd . but for Nature loving people there is ample opportunity to hike the beautiful Semmering Rax region
Solid good food nice and efficient service

We stop here regularly for a stroll in the garden centre and a lunch or coffee with cake. The menu has the typical local dishes one would expect in a good Austrian restaurant. Service is friendly, the outdoor Seating has a flair of a mountain resort, the location is very quiet despite the main road, inside Seating is in a very nicely decorated greenhouse. Have a break, have a walk, have a flower or a plant, enjoy the calm of the environment and the beauty of the garden! Recommended!
