This resaurant exceeded our expectations, which were very high to begin with! The restaurant is located in an Etruscan grotto that is over 2,000 years old, and they will let you walk through the old wine cellar during your visit. Our waiter was Luca, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had the filet with fresh truffles, tagliatelle with porcini, and eggplant with baked pecorino. It was all delicious! Luca recommended an excellent bottle of Moltalcino wine. The dessert was to die for - tiramisu with La Taverna di San Giuseppe’s reserva grappa. This restaurant was the highlight of our trip to Siena and we would recommend it to anyone any day.

Sometimes the best meals are the unexpected ones. After a late return to our hotel, Le Fontanelle, we asked the hotel for a nearby suggestion. The hotel said, almost apologetically, had this place had "simple" food which was fine with us. Who know that "simple" food would be the best Florentine T-bone ever, truffle gnocchi served in a Parmesan basket, and delicious sautéed spinach. The place is so charming and romantic as well (at the top of a mountain in a quiet village) and the bottle of excellent local wine was a mere 20 Euros. It was the least expensive meal of the trip and by far the best. The chef served the steak himself on a hot stone and we had leftovers the next day as that steak could feed 4.

Fabulous authentic Italian food in a beautiful piazza in picturesque Pienza! Don't miss the amazing bean soup, grilled cheese and bacon and homegrown tomatoe dishes...absolutely divine and our favourite meal while we were in Italy. Kick back, enjoy a table outdoors and let the generous host order for you, you won't be sorry!

At our restaurant we offer a fix menu for both lunch and dinner. The meals are served in long tables with the other guests as family style.

We offer Wine tasting with tour of the farm.

For wine tasting, lunch and dinner reservation is needed.
I was here with a client for business lunch and the place looks really nice. The owner took us for a walk around and we discovered that this is a real Italian farm! Wine, cows, veg garden etc etc. It was a light lunch but all dishes made with all natural ingredient, directly from the place.

This restaurant has some of the best food I have even eaten anywhere in the world. Truly excuisite cuisine with fantastic service and wine list. Comparable to any Michelin star restaurant. My favourite was the port with fruit.

This was one of the best meals we've had in Tuscany (multiple trips) and undoubtedly the best value. Known to English speakers as 'the farmhouse', Ischieto is a classy farm to table restaurant with terrific food and great service. The owner was present when we visited and provided personal service as well.
Upon ordering, we received a flatbread amuse-bouche, warm and delicious. The antipasta and salads were fresh and light. Our pasta course was outstanding, a truffle ravioli that I am craving as I write this. My wife and I asked to split an order and when the server told us it came with 5 ravioli, I asked to give 3 to my wife and 2 to me. She returned and said we could have 3 each for an extra 2 Euro....so worth it! For seconds, we ordered two beef dishes and the lamb, all of which were prepared perfectly. To give you a sense of value, these outstanding entrees, with 2 sides included, were 14 to 19 Euro.
The wine list was priced incredibly well. We ordered a bottle of Tignanello, one of the best super Tuscans, for 55 Euro. The next night I saw it in Rome at a restaurant for 180 Euro and the best price I can find in the US for the same vintage is $89. The desserts were as good as the entrees, tiramisu and a chocolate mousse. We ordered digestivos, healthy pours for 3 Euro each. The owner saw how much we were enjoying the evening and brought us a complimentary second digestive.
In summary, 5 scrumptious courses, top notch wine and after two dinner drinks each for 56 Euro for a person. If we'd have known how good it was, especially for the price, we would have eaten there on consecutive nights!

We will be closed from march 14 to 21
Really excellent dining experience in Tuscany Divine. The service was good, communication went well and the food of course was delicious. The only hope is that if we come to visit next time, we would love to try another menu if avaiable.
Thank you and see you next time :-)

I could't live without Champagne - in victory I deserve it, in defeat I need it
At first sight you see tons of wines from all over the world, great names and the hidden gems. Then the owner starts explaining you which wine was growing, made and matured how and where... and you want to try all of them. He is very competent and friendly.
This is a tiny little enoteca.. better make sure you have a space and book in advance.

Shop serving sandwiches and buns stuffed with various meats and cheeses , cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by a selection of Tuscan wines and not .
Our late lunch with Gianfranco was a highlight of our hiking vacation in the Tuscany. His restaurant is tiny - just six places at bar stools, but don’t let first appearances fool you. This is a miniature temple of good food! We chose the meat...MoreGrazie Tony per le belle parole da voi scritte, un salutone I Mariani
