Paddys is the centre of all activity in the area. First opened in 1829, it has been offering the best of Irish hospitality including great drink, superb food using local produce and the best of accommodation. We also offer advice to visitors on where to go and what to do.
Arrived early for dinner, but by the time we left it had filled up. Food very good, service very good and our "host" not too busy to have a chat.
If we are ever in that part of Ireland we would go back.

My family loves this pub/ restaurant. Especially the fish dishes which are very sumptous and light and very tasty on the pallet. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. The sweet section is to die for. This restaurant has recently changed hands, but from what i have heard the standard of Delivery has been maintained.

We visited O Mearas for Sunday Lunch on entering the lounge we went up to the counter where two young waitresses stood chatting they did not interrupt their chat as we stood there we picked up two menues off the counter and went and sat at a table that was vacant we sat for about fifteen minutes no waitress bothered to come to take our order, other people came in in the meantime and sat down we continued to sit and wait still no waitress came to take our order eventually after about twenty five minutes a waitress arrived and proceeded to take an order from people who had just walked in, at this point we just stood up and walked out in disgust. We wont be back.

A very well run cafe which serves unlimited menus with an accompaniment of a special choice also which could be curry, rice and naan bread, mushroom vol au vent or the carbonara special with delicious, tasty garlic bread. My favourite eating haunt which my family enjoys when they visit us from England. The staff are very accomodating and will make you up a salad or Sandwich of your choice if it is not on the menu. Lovely lattes and home made cakes and pies to die for.

This is a home bakery shop,we don't have a cafe. Goods are hand made in the traditional way using quality ingredients.
What a little gem and the most courteous staff I have ever encountered. My only gripe is if I keep calling in every week the scales will fail to work! What beautiful cakes and pastries. Well done and continued successThanks so much for your lovely review Antoinette

Traditional Irish Bar & Restaurant, situated on the Tipperary & Galway Boarder on the banks of the River Shannon. Traditional Home Cooked Food Served All Week From Monday - Thursday 11am - 8.30pm, Friday 11am - 9pm, Sunday 12pm - 8.30pm. Fully Licenced Bar.
Arrived maybe a bit too early for dinner. Pub almost deserted (6.15) dull interior, very plain menu but food actually good. Asked for the wine list and found it comprised of two reds and two whites. After all I suppose this is the land of the Guiness!
Why go back?
